Just came in, so I figured that I’d see how it works on wet hair. I’m a senior with longish fine hair. I am so impressed. Not seeing all sorts of hair on the comb like I did with the brush. After blow drying my hair, I combed it again. The knots in my hair come out easily without tearing my hair. Love it.The little sweetness that was sent with the comb – a red tassel and a few tiny Easter stickers in the bag – made me smile. Thank you.

Beautifully made
You never quite know what you’re getting ordering a wooden comb online, but this one was a pleasant surprise. I’m using wooden combs to do an 18th century hair care routine (less shampoo, more oil combing), and I needed something that was gentle on hair during repeated combings. The teeth give the scalp a nice skritch, but not painful. The wood feels lovely in the palm and the teeth glide effortlessly through unruly curls. There’s a slight curve to the teeth that fits the scalp well, and the surface is perfectly smooth. I’m very pleased with the sensory experience here, and the hole for attaching a tassel or a hanging loop is a welcome amenity. Go for it.

I was experiencing hair loss and noticing that my hair is coming out when I was brushing it with a plastic brush. I looked for an alternative and read that combing your hair with this type of comb would be the best way to care for it, and I have noticed a huge difference in the texture of my hair since using this comb. Highly recommend! ✨

Does a great for combing long hair.
Great for combing long hair without causing snarls and such. Would prefer all teeth to be same length. There is a slight slant to length of individual teeth making comb slightly deeper at one end than the other. Not a big deal…not really a problem.
