Works great for our cats.
I wanted a dual feeder that I could program for feeding times and this works exactly as advertised. Our cats now know the sound of meals being dispensed and come running. I like the flexibility of the app to set up feeding times and serving size. I can also dispense food as needed with my phone if I want to give them a snack.You will need to plug it in as batteries don’t last long and are really for backup. Also, don’t throw away the silica gel pack that comes with it, you’ll need to place it in the lid of the feeder.

Works well. App is easy to use. Easy to schedule feeding times. My cats run to it when they hear the food being dispensed. Easy to clean. Great size. Good value

Reliable but cover not secure
Works well, have been using it a few months. The cover doesn’t latch shut. Instead there is a strap (seems an after thought) you can stick on (secures with Velcro). Not the best design. The cats managed to knock it over once, and the cover still came loose. I moved to a location where they are tempted to climb on it.

Such a great appliance!!
Hubby and finally got fed up (no pun intended) with getting up at 5 am to feed our two felines. We also ran out of friends and acquaintances to come in and feed our fur babies if we were away visiting family. (None of our kids live close.) After seeing the auto feeder one if my daughters bought for their dog, I began searching for a simular set up for our cats. I thought I would have to purchase two feeders, but was pleasantly surprised to find feeders for multiple pets. O happy day!! This was so easy to set up, didn’t take much room, and our kitties adapted to being fed automatically almost immediately. One of the smartest purchases I’ve made in a long time.

Good product and great customer service
I own a ranch and each animal must earn their keep for it to be productive. I have barn cats to control the mice and rat population, and only go to each barn about every 4 days. The cats are doing their job, but need additional nutrition to survive. I ordered this cat feeder so they can have daily supplemental feed. It worked absolutely perfectly for about 6 months, then died. I made one phone call and a follow-up email to the company, and received a replacement feeder in 2 days. Fantastic customer service! I am very pleased with the product and especially the quick turnaround.

Do not purchase, not a quality product.
Feeder worked for 30 days then stopped. Check power and both batteries and AC are fine. Tried to add more feeding times and the plus button doesn’t work. It is not usable.do not purchase.

YOU DON’T GET TO SET YOUR OWN MEASURED PORTION SIZE (like 1/4 cup). It is pre-determined.
If you are expecting to set your own exact portion sizes with this feeder, you are beat. The portions are pre-determined; however you can increase the number of portions per feeding. At the bottom of the Smart Life app. there is a blue tab that says FEED with a + and – to the left. #1 is a pre-determined portion size. #2 is 2 pre-determined portion sizes. My vet recommended that I put my cat on a diet which has been excruciating for both of us. She isn’t supposed to have more than 1/2 cup of food per day. I had to fill the feeder to see how this is going to pan out. Great idea, but what weight is this “portion” that is dispensed? If this was the design, why doesn’t the manufacturer specify how much food comes out in their pre-determined portion size? Is it 1/8 cup, 1/4 cup? What is it? I’m usually disappointed with the low functionality and user friendly aspects of contemporary electronics. My night owl camera’s are a disappointment too. This product may be getting returned.

Works great!
Works great! Love that it has a button to feed on demand. Holds a good amount and can be set for multiple feedings. The bowls are stainless and come out easily for cleaning.The only downside is the portion size per feeding. Its like 10 pieces. HahaMy cat looked at me like, ” um…this isn’t going to fly”! 🙂 so I set it to 2 portions.Very happy with it.

Ease of use
This has been a great find. Very easy to use, can easily fit a 3lb. Bag of cat food, and last over a week. My cat’s are trained now, so when they hear the dispenser dropping the food on the metal bowls they come running. They only issue was trying to convert the serving size to ounces, but once done just set serving size and forget about it. You can easily adjust or do a feeding easily thru the app.

I bought two
I’ve had two others previously (one still works but I wanted two matching that were bigger) and I have been impressed by this new one. I love the app. It’s so much easier than having to adjust things on the unit itself.I do wish there was a way to only have one bowl instead of only two. I just blocked off one end ofThe splitter.For reference, I have 3 cats (6lb, 15 lb, and 18lb) and the sweet spot in servings is 1 serving per cat 4x a day. They all switch bowls and there’s always a little left over at the end of the night.In my week of owning two of these, so far I give it 5 stars.
