Craftmanship and Current Design
This is a beautiful, well-made bag with hefty, elegant gold hardware, high end seams and pleats, and strong magnets. I chose the BLACK faux leather, which is super soft and textured to look like the real deal. And it does! There are no feet on the bottom, but the panel is reinforced and helps the bag sit upright and slightly puddle at the bottom. LOVE the modified dumpling look! The magnets are located at the top and on both sides, to keep items inside and the shape standing up. There is not a zipper at the top, so small items can fall out if the bag is dropped or laid on its side. The interior of the bag is expertly lined in a soft, sueded polyester fabric with a brand tag sewn in. There is no inner zipped pocket, which is a disappointment to me, though not a deal breaker. The most important thing about this bag is that there is only 2 1/2″ below the top magnets. This means that my iPhone Pro Max does technically fit, but at over 3″ wide, it has to lay at an angle for the magnets to close securely, this limits what else can be carried in the bag. Since this is a clutch for evening use, I will carry a small pencil case to carry lipstick, balm, pen, and gum, and a small card case with 2 credit cards, my ID, and a few bills. This allows the phone to fit, and the bag does not show bulges. I do think the J W PEI brand produces elevated products that mimic much pricier designer brands. They are quick to maintain current designs, and their workmanship and hardware has attention to detail. The bag ships in a custom box with a branded dust bag. My only disappointment is the cell phone fit (height of the bag at lowest point) and lack of an interior zipped compartment to hold cash and cards. The look and feel of the bag, hardware, lining, and packaging make up for those two details, and I’m very happy to wear this bag out for even the most formal of evenings.

You wouldn’t guess it’s vegan unless you checked the tag. The metal handle is solid and has a good weight to it.It’s a bit pricey for something that’s not leather, but you can tell they didn’t cut corners on the construction. The shape holds up, and it doesn’t collapse when you set it down. I’ve carried it out a few times already and you can fit your phone, a small wallet, and keys, but not much more.

PU leather at premium leather prices
When I saw this purse, I was very excited and I ordered it quickly, without quite understanding that “vegan leather” means it is made from PU pleather (plastic imitation leather).While the PU imitation leather is softer and more supple than some PU imitation leather products, I do not think it is sufficiently high quality to command such a high price. And I’ve never heard of JW PEI before as a fashion designer, so I’m not quite sure what you’re paying for…Still, the construction and quality of materials appears to be pretty good. And I see that this brand is sold in premium department stores. So perhaps there is some name recognition with people more in tune with the current fashion industry.The style looks sleek and cute. I believe it will work well for nights out, rather than a day bag. I don’t carry clutches during the day.

Lovely!
I love this purse! A lot more than I thought I would. First of all, it has a good feel to it in your hands. It’s hard to explain, but it feels good to hold it. The handles are very sturdy. The bag is easy to open, but won’t open on its own. There’s enough room for keys, phone, and some make up. This will be perfect to take to weddings or other formal events. It even comes with a satin dust bag. It has the feel of a classic clutch bag, but with a modern twist.

Craftmanship and Current Design
This is a beautiful, well-made bag with hefty, elegant gold hardware, high end seams and pleats, and strong magnets. I chose the BLACK faux leather, which is super soft and textured to look like the real deal. And it does! There are no feet on the bottom, but the panel is reinforced and helps the bag sit upright and slightly puddle at the bottom. LOVE the modified dumpling look! The magnets are located at the top and on both sides, to keep items inside and the shape standing up. There is not a zipper at the top, so small items can fall out if the bag is dropped or laid on its side. The interior of the bag is expertly lined in a soft, sueded polyester fabric with a brand tag sewn in. There is no inner zipped pocket, which is a disappointment to me, though not a deal breaker. The most important thing about this bag is that there is only 2 1/2″ below the top magnets. This means that my iPhone Pro Max does technically fit, but at over 3″ wide, it has to lay at an angle for the magnets to close securely, this limits what else can be carried in the bag. Since this is a clutch for evening use, I will carry a small pencil case to carry lipstick, balm, pen, and gum, and a small card case with 2 credit cards, my ID, and a few bills. This allows the phone to fit, and the bag does not show bulges. I do think the J W PEI brand produces elevated products that mimic much pricier designer brands. They are quick to maintain current designs, and their workmanship and hardware has attention to detail. The bag ships in a custom box with a branded dust bag. My only disappointment is the cell phone fit (height of the bag at lowest point) and lack of an interior zipped compartment to hold cash and cards. The look and feel of the bag, hardware, lining, and packaging make up for those two details, and I’m very happy to wear this bag out for even the most formal of evenings.

Perfect going out bag
This one definitely feels more like a statement piece than an everyday bag, but the quality really surprised me. The material isn’t real leather, but it looks and feels pretty close. You wouldn’t guess it’s vegan unless you checked the tag. The metal handle is solid and has a good weight to it.It’s a bit pricey for something that’s not leather, but you can tell they didn’t cut corners on the construction. The shape holds up, and it doesn’t collapse when you set it down. I’ve carried it out a few times already and you can fit your phone, a small wallet, and keys, but not much more.

PU leather at premium leather prices
When I saw this purse, I was very excited and I ordered it quickly, without quite understanding that “vegan leather” means it is made from PU pleather (plastic imitation leather).While the PU imitation leather is softer and more supple than some PU imitation leather products, I do not think it is sufficiently high quality to command such a high price. And I’ve never heard of JW PEI before as a fashion designer, so I’m not quite sure what you’re paying for…Still, the construction and quality of materials appears to be pretty good. And I see that this brand is sold in premium department stores. So perhaps there is some name recognition with people more in tune with the current fashion industry.The style looks sleek and cute. I believe it will work well for nights out, rather than a day bag. I don’t carry clutches during the day.

I love this clutch. The design is so unique and classy, and the vegan leather is incredibly soft. Do note that it doesn’t have a shoulder strap–this has a handle only. Looks expensive.
