Great
I made the decision to purchase this indoor fruit fly trap after reading a lot of reviews that were optimistic about its performance. It is without a doubt one of the most advantageous purchases I have made for my home this year, and I have to say that I have to say that without a doubt. When we were confronted with an unexpected invasion of fruit flies in the area surrounding our garbage can and sink, this device was of great assistance to us in swiftly putting the matter under control. Because of its compact and modern appearance, it does not look out of place whether it is positioned on the counter or tucked away next to the garbage can. This is because the design is both tiny and current. The built-in light has the ability to attract flies in a way that is both serene and effective, and the suction fan has the ability to rapidly draw them in. The fact that it is both safe and silent is a nice advantage; there are no zapping sounds or chemicals that you need to be concerned about. The timer function is among the most helpful tools that are available. Setting it to work in the evening, when the kitchen is quieter and the bugs are more active, is something that I really love having the opportunity to do as it allows me to take advantage of the situation. It does not need me to remember to turn it off, and it is efficient in terms of the amount of energy that it uses. After using it for two nights, we saw a dramatic decrease in the quantity of fruit fly activity that was occurring. Despite the fact that it continues to perform pretty effectively as long as it is cleaned and emptied on a regular basis, the trap was able to collect a stunning number of insects. An additional aspect that satisfies me is the fact that this trap takes very little maintenance. Not only is the machine easy to run, but it is also easy to clean, and it does not require any filthy baits or refills. All you need to do is connect it in and then wait for it to complete its program.

THIS THING IS AWESOME! Sleek design, quiet, and super effective for fruit flies!
I wasn’t sure how well this would work, but I’m seriously impressed. I’ve tried other fly traps before: sticky tape, vinegar bowls, you name it, but this one is actually effective and way more pleasant to use in a living space. Here’s what I loved: • Works fast – Within the first 24 hours, I already saw results. It’s been consistently catching fruit flies and gnats that used to hang around my end table that’s by the window. • Totally quiet – The fan is so silent I sometimes forget it’s even running. Perfect for nighttime or if you’re sensitive to sound or lights, which I AM! • No gross smell or chemicals – It just uses light, gentle suction, and glue boards. No sprays, no stink, and no safety concerns for pets (I have a cat and feel totally fine using it). • Looks modern – Most traps are ugly or industrial-looking. This one honestly blends in with my decor and almost looks like a little art piece or bladeless fan. • Easy to clean – You just swap out the sticky board at the bottom when it’s full. Zero mess.Bonus feature:The timer setting is actually really useful! I don’t always remember to turn things off, so having the option to set it for a few hours is a nice touch. If I had to nitpick:The sticky boards can fill up faster than expected if you have a lot of bugs, so I recommend buying extra refills early on. But honestly, that’s just a sign that it’s doing its job.Final thoughts:If you’re dealing with fruit flies, gnats, or even small indoor mosquitoes, just get this. It’s affordable, effective, and hassle-free. I’ve already recommended it to two friends and I’ll be buying another for my bathroom. Total win.

Nice design and function!
This is a nice flying insect trap! Definitely worth the cost. It’s quiet and sturdy. I like that the sticky trap is contained within the machine. That means if the insects don’t quite get stuck the first time, they are not getting out either. The suction of the fan is strong enough to catch bugs though if you put your hand in it, you won’t feel much suction. The light is not too bright but has kind of a cool glow about it. Also, cheap to run! I ran it for months and it hardly affected my electric bill, but it definitely kept the room bug free. It is also aesthetically pleasing!! Looks like some brand name and expense fans on the market, so it’s not bad to look at either if you intend to keep it in a high traffic area.

Small flying insect trap, works better on some insects than others, LED UV emitting lamps
I live in an older home (80’s) with septic system instead of city sewer, there always seem to be a lot of gnats in the kitchen. I have a couple of dynatraps in the house and they work quite well for house flies (the big black bottle flies), mosquitos and some other small flying things. My sink is quite a few feet away from those traps so I got this for more sink coverage since I seem to have what most folks call drain gnats coming out of the kitchen sink drains. Not much setup here, it runs on 5 volts under one amp draw so just about any usb adapter you have for any device will run this if you need to but there is an adapter included in the box and a pack of ten sticky pads and a usb A to micro usb cable (which could be longer honestly. If you need a longer one any usb A to usb micro cable “should” work to power this). I suppose in a pinch you could even run this off a usb battery pack if you don’t have a nearby outlet. Setup is nothing, peel the paper off the sticky pad place it sticky side up in the bottom tray, plug the cable into the back and the usb A end into the wall adapter, turn it on using the switch on top. The switch has several positions including 6 hour, 12 hour, continuous and of course off. I don’t really think the fan suction is particularly strong but it’s apparently enough for the tiny sewer gnats I’m battling. Kind of wondering if a stronger fan might be needed to catch the larger bottle flies more effectively. The unit is supposed to have a UV light to attract insects, first of all not all flying insects are attracted to UV so depending on what’s flying around in the area don’t necessarily expect tremendous results. Secondly, most regular UV bulbs do not last more than a couple of months before they have to be replaced because they no longer emit UV (they still light up but UV is not visible to the human eye unaided)…i.e. the ones on this are not replaceable so I have serious doubts about UV spectrum light being emitted for long term anyhow. I tried to google how long UV emitting LED’s should last and depending on UV type A or B google said up to twenty thousand hours which is tremendously better than a fluorescent or incandescent bulb so if this is true then this thing should be able to make at least one of the UV lighting types for several years continuously. There are instruments that can measure UV but they are expensive. If you know anyone with a reptile hobby they may have one or know somebody that does if they keep iguanas or bearded dragons etc. NOTE: As far as I can tell this is a Real UV LED bulb setup they have lasted continuously for over six months and not burnt out. The unit is expensive but when you add up new bulbs every few months the larger initial outlay is worth it.I plugged it in and put it on continuous next to the sink. Just a few hours later I checked the sticky pad and there were probably about thirty of the little drain gnats stuck to it so it would appear to be working and just like most products like it, it works better when it’s the only light in the area so turn off the other lights wherever you have this placed. You can hear the fan when you get close to it but it’s by no means loud. Apparently my gnat situation has a life cycle where a lot of them get born all at once, one day I checked the sticky pad and it was positively black with little gnat bodies so this is definitely something you want to run constantly if you can. My kitchen is dim anyhow with the lights off but the trap works better when it’s the brightest light source in the area.Update: 6-2025 been using this 24/7 since purchased in 2024 and it continues to catch LOTS of the smaller drain gnats that it was bought to handle, get a few bottle flies (the big black picnic table scourges) but it seems to work best on fliers that are smaller than the bottle flies that I also am plagued with. It’s difficult to find a unit with UV LED lamps on it, I bought another product that claimed to have UV lamps but I always suspected that was not true and now that the bulb has quit it appears they’ve removed anything on their product page that might make you believe they have LED UV bulbs in their product….a UV led bulb of any type will appear to have pinpoints of light in the tube as those are the LED’s emitting the light so if your tube doesn’t look like that I can assure you it’s probably fluorescent not LED. I have moved this into my bedroom where the larger bottle flies are an issue, no clue where they’re getting in the house but they like my bedroom as much as the trash can for whatever reason, if this works in the bedroom I will be buying another one for the kitchen because I’m tired of buying new bulbs all the time for my flourescent light product that also blocks my outlets to use it. This thing I plug into the usb ports on my extension cord as it provides USB A plugs and this thing doesn’t draw over an Amp. It’s also nice to be able to replace the rather short cable they give you with a much longer one if you need it. Would rather have usb c than micro USB but it works.Just wanted to say that I’ve tried three of these products now and the other two have not had near the body count of this one so yeah, you’re going to pay twice as much for this product most likely but it’s worth it because it works better than the other products I’ve tried. Personally I think the reason it works better is 1-two different color lights, 2-larger chamber. The other thing this product offers is an AC adapter so you don’t have to provide your own. These three things make it worth the extra layout, probably be buying another one soon.

Helped me teach those pesky fruit flies a much needed lesson!
I set this trap up in my kitchen where fruit flies had been swarming and got results pretty fast. The ultraviolet light attracts them at night, and a quiet fan pulls them onto one of the sticky glue boards. There’s no mess, and it’s really satisfying to periodically check the glue trap to revel in the rapidly rising body count😈The built in timer is handy. I run it for a handful of hours overnight, and in the morning it is covered in tiny bugs. At first I thought the suction might be too weak but the fan does the job.The device looks sleek, and doesn’t take up much space. Replacing a glue board takes seconds to just pop open the tray, slide in a fresh one, and you are good to go. It comes with ten boards so I won’t need to order more anytime soon.Using this trap has noticeably reduced the number of fruit flies in my kitchen

I recommend
really liked this indoor fruit fly trap. I placed it next to my fruit bowl, and within a few days, I already had many insects stuck on the device. I was very happy because I noticed that the number of small insects near my fruit bowl decreased. The trap is easy to set up and discreet, blending well with my kitchen decor. It works effectively by attracting the flies with its bait, and the sticky surface traps them easily. I appreciate that it doesn’t use any chemicals or strong smells, making it safe for indoor use. After a short time, I could see a noticeable reduction in the fruit flies around my kitchen. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. It’s simple, effective, and helped me keep my kitchen cleaner and more comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone dealing with fruit flies indoors.

Working well so far!
It is a very attractive product. Is seems to be catching flies. It dopes seems to benefit from sitting overnight in the dark so the traps light does not compete with sunlight or room lighting. After a couple of days, I can see several dozen flies trapped on the sticky disc pad. It is very quiet, it can be operated near your desk or nightstand without irritating fan noise. I bought two, since I seem to have a home invasion of fruit flies tight now. The effect seems to be localized to an area a few feet around the trap. it come with a package of sticky trap disks and service would only be to take out the old disk and place a clean disk. As I said I bought two, I leave both on continuously.

Fruit fly mayhem
I’m a little ashamed of my own pics. I honestly didn’t know we had that many fruit flies. My problem is my sourdough starter. It naturally attracts fruit flies. It’s fermented so of course it does. I’ve tried traps from tractor supply that you put fruit juice in. I’ve tried the hanging sticky fly traps. They caught a few but I didn’t want them hanging directly over food prep. The pic is exactly how I have it set up. Jane Dough sits right in front of this trap. I usually only have it turned on at night. Turned it on during the day just long enough to take this pic.The timer on it is pretty self explanatory but it does come with instructions if you need them. The sticky pads are easy to put in. And the pic is after 3 days. It caught a lot running only at night. We caught a few regular flies and that little thump when they get sucked in is very satisfying. I’m honestly surprised it’s strong enough to catch even a couple of the house flies. The fan doesn’t feel very strong. And it runs almost silently. If I were to made any changes, I’d have made the bottom tray deep enough to hold the spare sticky pads. It would have been more convenient. After I’m down to 3 or 4 then ill be able to stash them all away in the bottom.I’m surprised that I like this thing as much as I do. I’m so used to traps that are a waste of money that I’m shocked when one works. If you have a fruit fly or other tiny flying bug problem then I’d suggest this trap. It gets even the ones you didn’t know about. If it’s regular flies then this one isn’t for you, it doesn’t catch enough house flies to be worth it.

A bargain at any price! Get one!!!!!!
I love this gadget SO MUCH. It catches an ungodly amount of fruit flies/gnats and even a ton of full-sized flies that I didn’t even know were in the house. It’s amazing. So happy I got it.I let it run 24/7. It’s very quiet. When I first set it up, I pointed it straight into the room. But the light shone at me too much. Or maybe I just checked on it too often. Anyway, I had wicked insomnia the first couple nights until I realized it might be interfering with my melatonin production. I changed the angle so I wouldn’t look into the light hole as often and it’s fine now. When I leave for work, I shut off all the lights and pull the drapes so it’s pretty much the only light source. The bugs get to spend all day flying to their doom. Same thing at night. It seems to work fine in normal conditions with the lights on too! Notice how it lights up things behind it so the bugs are like “Ooh, what’s going on over there??” Yesterday when I got home a FLY came in with me. I turned on the lights and watched it fly straight over there. It sat on the curtain in the purple light for a moment and then buzzed right on into the machine. I heard a tiny, heart-warming “thwap” as the fly was sucked in and slammed into the glue board. 10/10.Pictured: With lights on and in the dark
