Works great and I don’t have to follow it around
Wow, night and day from my last robotvac! It was a less expensive no name model who got lost all the time and couldn’t find it’s way back to home! NOW, this Eufy C10 is amazing. I’m not tech savvy at all and set up was super easy. It mapped out the house, then returned home. I go to the app and start it right up. It returned home to dump all the dog hair, then started cleaning again. It’s powerful and is just awesome. Pretty quiet too, just not when it’s cleaning itself. Happy I spent the extra money.

Eufy! Why did I wait so long to get you!
Love my Eufy! My daughter has one, I’ve been thinking about it a lot, and decided to give it a try. We have a big 120 year old historic house with different levels and so many rooms. The mapping feature works so well, I have the rooms mapped out and I can select just a room or several rooms for Eufy to clean. She does amazing! Has no problem with the rugs and different levels in the house, plus we have 3 dogs- 2 of them are shedders, plus 5 cats. She has to return to empty out a few times but she does a great job. It’s so convenient to see cat litter or animal hair/dust and just grab my phone, pick the room or rooms to do and let Eufy do her thing! I do move chairs and dog beds, and I’ll move things that are next to the wall a little so she can get around and clean. When she gets to table legs she goes completely around with her whipper brush. I swear she does a better job than I did!I was on the fence to get Eufy cause I stay at home and figured I could just vacuum. I just decided to get it on a whim and because daughter has one (hers isn’t as fancy with the mapping and emptying out tho) I’m so glad I ordered Eufy! She’s become a very welcome member of the family, she’s a big help to me and saves me a lot of time, and honestly does a better job! If you’re on the fence, just do it. The mapping takes time, but once that’s done, shes good to go!

Good basic robot vac for fur patrol.
My first robot vac. I did comparison testing of this C10 along with the Roborock Q8+ which vacuums and has a stationary mop pad, but I was not using the mop pad feature. I chose to try the Q8+ because of the obstacle avoidance.I have 2 short hair med/large dogs, 1 of which is part Husky and sheds a lot. That’s my primary reason for getting a robot vac. I also have medium length hair. The Roborock was nice, but the obstacle avoidance caused it to NOT pick up clumps of dog fur as it thought it was an obstacle. Defeats the purpose of picking up pet hair so I ended up returning it after comparing it to the C10.The C10 doesn’t have obstacle avoidance and must rely on the front bumper/sensor so it “drives by braille” quite a bit. It WILL however pick up all clumps of dog fur (along with anything else short or thin that you leave out on the floor like socks, cords, shoelaces, etc.). Anything that isn’t tall or wide enough for the front sensor to detect is going to get run over/sucked into the vacuum. If you tend to leave random items on the floor, this vac is not for you.I had to map my house twice because it completely missed my entryway for some reason. Like Roborock’s app, you cannot remap just one room/area of the house. The entire home has to be done in one run. It got everything the 2nd time though. I use an Android phone and the app is NOT Google verified. I don’t put labels on my map of what the rooms are, but it makes me wonder how many robot vacs are out there where these companies now have floorplans/locations of all our homes. The suction is decent and picks up the loose dog fur just fine from hard flooring and low pile rugs. It’s also quieter because of the lower suction level, but you’ll eventually need to vacuum rugs with a regular upright for a thorough cleaning. My hair and anything stringy will build up at the ends of the roller brush. The instructions don’t tell you how to take the rollers off the ends of the brush to easily pluck the coils of wrapped hair out, but just grab the roller and give it a little twist to remove it, then do the reverse to put it back.Customer service responds fairly quickly for questions/issues, but like a lot of companies, they are responding from China. Therefore, the grammar may be a bit difficult to understand or they may not respond until the middle of the night for the USA.Overall, if you have pets, want a basic vacuum-only model and are good about not leaving clutter lying around, I think you’ll be happy with this vacuum. I just purchased another one to give as a gift.

It “sucks” in a good way!
Day 4 update- map your whole house the first time! I tried to add to the map rooms I had closed off after the initial mapping, ended up having to redo the whole map. Minor setback in my opinion though. Still worth it!Day 2 of owning the Eufy c10, I plan to update as needed.Wow! Let me start off by saying I had low expectations. My first robot vac was a Neato back in 2019. The Eufy is leaps and bounds better, beyond my expectations for a machine under $300.Setting up WiFi and the app was a breaze. The Eufy mapped my house with ease and it didn’t take long at all. First clean cycle ran for a little over an hour and a half (with 2 rooms closed off). It self emptied 3 times and picked up everything in its path. It didn’t get stuck a single time and even rolled over a sock that it just moved to the side and a dog toy that it didn’t suck up.It tries really hard to stick to a pattern and does a pretty good jobThe mapping is my favorite part. It works exactly as advertised. I love that I can tell it to clean one room or one area only and it’s not aimlessly wandering around the house. It does bump into some things but I don’t find it overly aggressive like my neato was.Overall right now, I would recommend and buy again. I’ll update my review if anything changes.

Good Vacuum
I was hesitant about trying this out since I have only used Roombas in the past. I have a 2000 sq foot house and it cleans it everyday on one battery charge, even though it takes about an hour and a half to do so. I’m not home when it vacuums so that doesn’t really matter to me. It is also pretty quiet. It does a great job vacuuming and I like that you can see the route it takes on the app. Definitely a good purchase for the cost.

Love our robot vac
This vacuum works great! Effortlessly have clean floors. We have a dog who sheds and kids and they all track in dirt and sand from the yard this picks everything up well. Bonus it also vacuums under our couch and bed and dresser. It was easy to set up and map.

Oofee, you tried your best
Nicknamed mine “Oofee” — and while it didn’t exactly suck (pun intended), it just wasn’t the right fit for my home.It mapped rooms fairly well, suction was decent, and the app scheduling worked when it stayed connected. But here’s the rub: I’m using it in a brand-new home with all wood floors and no furniture, so you’d think it would cruise with no issues. Instead, Oofee repeatedly got stuck on HVAC floor vents and wedged into corners — nearly every single time I scheduled a clean. I’d get the stuck notification on my phone while I was away, and there wasn’t anything I could do remotely. Also worth noting: frequent Wi-Fi disconnections, and it was hit-or-miss whether it would reconnect without a full reset.Great effort, sleek design, and a fair price on sale, but not quite ready for life alone on wide-open floors. Returning for something with better obstacle handling and more reliable connectivity.

Works well; some “babysitting” needed
I had an issue with the first unit I received where the rolling brush motor died after only 30 minutes of cleaning. However, I was able to get a replacement sent through Amazon. The company itself was responsive via customer support, but the first solution involved me replacing the motor myself, which seemed doable but tedious. Fortunately the replacement arrived quickly and the new unit has gone through two cleaning cycles with no issues.Overall I’m loving this RoboVac! I got it because I have several cats and long hair myself and wanted help picking up the hair and litter on a regular basis. So far, it has done just that! It doesn’t get every bit of litter, especially the stuff right in front of the litter box, but it makes a big difference. It also cleans well in hard-to-reach places like under the couch and other furniture. It picked up a horrifying amount of hair it’s first go-round, and the rolling brush needed to be cleaned. So if you expect it to pick up a lot of hair, definitely keep an eye on the brush so it doesn’t get stuck. It wasn’t bad the second time, but I still expect to clean it more regularly than the user manual suggests. I was also a bit skeptical about the cleaning pattern when it first started cleaning, but it did end up cleaning all the rooms well, so that was great. It takes about 1.5 hours to clean the entire floor of my house and does it on one charge. It is slow, but much more thorough and very convenient for me to just let it run. It’s surprisingly quiet too and didn’t scare my cats into hiding. It does need a bit of “babysitting” in that you’ll want to check which obstacles it has trouble with and move stuff out of the way. I have some rugs that it has trouble with even though they aren’t particularly fluffy. Also, since I have cat stuff all over the house, I pick it up because the first time it drug some toys around for a while. If you don’t have much stuff strewn about, you can probably run it whenever without worrying. I’ll have to pick up stuff before I run it, but again I’m glad to not have to vacuum. The side brush pops off a lot which is mildly annoying, but it seems to clean fine without it. If you pick it up to put the brush back on, you have to bring the vacuum back to the home base which makes the whole process slower, so I’ve just let it do it’s thing and put the brush back on later.

A+ customer service and good performance, with one hiccup.
Update:I originally reviewed dissatisfied with the vacuum’s suction performance. On the support side of things, I received a refund offer not long after posting the review. While I didn’t end up requesting the refund, A+ to EufyHome on the customer service side for taking the initiative and reaching out to offer a refund based solely on my review. On the performance side, I realized later that there was a large dust bunny/cat fur clump that had managed to lodge itself in the vacuum’s input behind the roller. I suspect that was blocking debris AND causing a noticeable decrease in suction power, leading to the issues I was facing. While ideally think a smart unit in this price range should have been able to detect and inform me of an issue like that, the suction issues were solved once I manually cleared it, so I’m bumping it up to 4 stars. (I should also note, since I mentioned it in my original review, the “auto empty” functionality of this unit is based on operating time, not based on any information on its current contents.)–Original Review:–I’ve had this vacuum for a few days and have had it clean a few different rooms for me. The mapping functionality works pretty well, I have an apartment with a loft and was able to set up both floors with ease. The software appears to do a good job of mapping a route through the space that doesn’t leave out any blind spots, provided of course that it can fit in the space.I’ve run it a few times in different rooms, and am a bit unimpressed by the actual ability to pick up dust. After multiple runs in the same space, I’m still finding areas, most obviously around the edges of my rug, where debris was missed. I’m even seeing some spots where I’m pretty sure there wasn’t any before, as though it’s dragging dust and debris along without using enough power to successfully store it. I was using the highest power setting and it felt the need to return to the dock to empty itself multiple times, so I’m not sure what the issue is.

Great for the price, but waiting a month for a replacement
I purchased this unit to replace a Roomba e6. Summary review – it is far superior. Many of the negative comments are true, but are in comparison to a $600+ Roomba. If you want all those features, reliability, intelligence, etc., then pay $600+. This review is in comparison to a Roomba e6. I paid $300 for the e6 years ago, and paid <$250 for this unit, on sale.Compared to Roomba e6 :- Far better coverage. It maps as it goes, so it tries to cover as much as possible without repeating. It can do most of 1300 sq ft house in a pass. The e6 could barely cover one room with it’s brain-dead bouncing around. It does not memorize the map for use in the next pass (unlike a top-end model). It will sometimes miss a room, but next pass it might get that room but miss something else. Not ideal, but far superior to price-equivalent bounce-around model.- Doesn’t get stuckThe e6 could not make it through a pass without getting stuck several times. I’d have to spend so much time rescuing it or blocking & unblocking areas with pillows, etc., that it took less time to use a vacuum. This thing is fire-and-forget. It has a low profile so it easily fits under furniture the e6 would get stuck under.- PriceHella functionality for < $300.- Easy to cleanHopper and brush are easy to remove, empty, and clean. I recommend gently cleaning the dust filter with a kitchen spray nozzle and allow it to dry. This is not mentioned in the manual, but that filter gets really dirty and needs more than just banging it out. Do it after every use.- Quiet. With the e6 running, we could not watch TV in a separate room, even with the door closed, because it was so noisy and would fruitlessly bang itself against our bedroom door. I don’t watch TV (except sports) in the same room as this unit, but it is not disruptive through a closed door. It is running while I am typing this and it is not at all distracting, unlike the e6 that sounds like a jet landing in my house.- Good suctionPicks up way more than the e6. The hopper needs to be emptied after every use. Neither the e6 nor my Dyson pick up that much.- No problem with tile/carpetIt has no problem transitioning from tile to carpet or rug or bath mat. Other people have reported a problem. I think this depends on your particular floor/rug/mat/layout.- OK with cat litterWe have a litter box mat that grabs most of the litter as the cat steps out. It won’t pick that up. But it will get other stray bits of litter.- Wifi setup hinkyIt was not as simple as 1-2-3. I’m tech savvy so I figured it out on my own (can’t remember how). Others have reported this problem. Call tech support for help. Echo other reviews – they really need to make this process simpler so non-tech savvy person can plug-and-play this thing.- Unknown reliabilityI don’t know how reliable it will be, as I’ve only had it a few weeks and run it about a dozen times. I almost never get extended warranties, they are usually a rip off, but I got one for this because of warnings that it only lasts about a year. It’s about $35, so if it dies inside 3 years I’ll get another.- App functionalityThere are complaints that you can’t do some things with the app like tell it to skip a room or whatever. I don’t use any of that, for this or the e6, so I don’t know and don’t care. I don’t want to tell it to do anything, certainly not mid-cleaning. I just want to start it and let it run.- Finds it’s way homeThe e6 navigates as well as a drunk sailor. Almost never found it’s way home so I’d have to go hunting around to find it, on hands and knees looking under all the furniture, and every nook of the house. Waste of my time. This unit has gotten lost only once.- Wife likes itNuff said. The main reason I got this was so that it could go under furniture, not get stuck, and get better coverage than the e6, for ~$300. It does all that. If you want more, cough up $600. Highly recommend.EDIT 13Oct2022 – The first unit worked well for months before developing a rattling type noise, widely reported by others. Eufy was quick to send a replacement, after I posted the old one. I got it within days. That one had the rattling noise out of the box. I went back and forth with their support/engineers; they were diligently trying to find a cause and cure, and I was impressed. Eventually they told me to return it, and they would send a new one after a posted the old one. I waited the requisite 10 days for the replacement to arrive, it didn’t, I contacted support again and they told me woops, it didn’t get shipped cuz of a problem at our end, we’ll ship it now and send you a tracking number. Wait wait wait, nothing. Email them again, woops it still hasn’t shipped, we’ll ship it soon. I’ve now been waiting a month for a replacement.I was so impressed at first with the product and customer service, they easily earned five stars. This fiasco has dropped it to two stars. I told them to express it to me NOW; if it gets here tomorrow I’ll raise this up to 4*, but don’t count on it.Update : eufy did expedite the unit to me, and all is well now. I hope they fix whatever problem they have in their warehouse, cuz they otherwise have a great product and support.
