I didn’t need to order up a size
I did have to return these because based on so many reviews I ordered up in size. They were too big. I reordered them in my correct size. I normally wear a 8 – 10 depending in the item. I ordered up a size 12 – 14 but those were way to big. I will update this review when the size 10 comes in. My initial thoughts on the material is that with a wash they should be nice and soft. They seem lightweight enough to were on hot summer days. I’m looking forward to wearing them. I will say that the first pair I ordered were the light blue. Didn’t really like that color so much. More of a light baby blue vs a light denim blue. I ordered a beige color this time

I’m 5’6” and expected the fit to be above my ankles. It was not. So I washed and dried it though that is not recommended, BUT IT’S COTTON! Not some delicate material. It did shrink as expected. The legs are now about mid-calf. It is also a bit tight across my hips but the cotton stretches out as I wear it. It’s just not as loose as I wished. I should have bought one size up. The material IS light and a great summer weight.

I love these pants. I had to figure out my correct size through trial and error. I am a 16 in Old Navy jeans and the 16/2X in these pants were on the tight side in the waistband so I sized up. 18/3X is very similar to an Old Navy 16. They are 100% cotton as advertised.

I did have to return these because based on so many reviews I ordered up in size. They were too big. I reordered them in my correct size. I normally wear a 8 – 10 depending in the item. I ordered up a size 12 – 14 but those were way to big. I will update this review when the size 10 comes in. My initial thoughts on the material is that with a wash they should be nice and soft. They seem lightweight enough to were on hot summer days. I’m looking forward to wearing them. I will say that the first pair I ordered were the light blue. Didn’t really like that color so much. More of a light baby blue vs a light denim blue. I ordered a beige color this time

I’m 5’6” and expected the fit to be above my ankles. It was not. So I washed and dried it though that is not recommended, BUT IT’S COTTON! Not some delicate material. It did shrink as expected. The legs are now about mid-calf. It is also a bit tight across my hips but the cotton stretches out as I wear it. It’s just not as loose as I wished. I should have bought one size up. The material IS light and a great summer weight.

I almost did not order because Amazon said it was a frequently returned item. I did order and I like the pants. I am 5’1” and weigh 109 lbs. I ordered a M and it is a great fit. They are too long for me but I will shorten them.
