Wonderful tool!
I absolutely LOVE this thing! My daughter bought me one for Mother’s Day and I think it’s so great that I bought 4 more to give as Christmas presents this year. They are so easy to use and shred so well and super quick, it’s a shame I went so long in life using 2 forks to shred chicken!

Works really well & cuts down on time
bought this to shred chicken for salad bowls ( and also my cats). It was inexpensive so I figured I’d give it a try & was glad I did. It works like a charm and shreds quickly. It is plastic & can seem a little rickety at first but it’s been 4 months & still going strong after consistent weekly use.

Works Great
I liked the easy way it is to use this shredder. It does everything it is supposed to do. I worry that it is too flimsy and isn’t dishwasher safe. I am afraid it would melt on the heat drying time so I do not put it in the dishwasher. Hand washing is a pain but I don’t mind. Works great.

Great addition to your kitchen.
I love this! A simple tool that makes life easier. Barely turn a few times and chicken is perfectly shredded. Works best if you do not overfill it. Easy clean up, just pop in the dishwasher. Worked great for chicken salad and bbq chicken. I see so many uses for this.

Excellent Porduct Easy to Use
Excellent and probably one of my favorite purchases! Shredded chicken perfect with ease which saved me a lot of time not trying to do it by hand. The design made it simple to use and it’s size can easily fit 2 chicken breasts. Its plastic so I do hope it holds up well over time.

With a redesign it could get 5 stars
I decided, for $10, to give this product a try. I had some chicken breasts in the fridge when it arrived so I tried it right away and it did not disappoint. The materials seem robust enough and it did what it claimed. The rubber feet on the bottom kept it from moving (on a granite countertop) so I’m not sure what other reviewers were talking about when they said it moved around on their surface. I saw reviews where people saw it was hard to clean? In the package it showed a picture of manually cleaning it but in the Amazon description it said it was dishwasher-safe. I would assume that’s top rack to be safe, or turn off heat-drying on your dishwasher. I did that and came out perfectly cleaned. Why only 3 stars?Storage issues. If you’re like me, you buy a lot of gadgets but hard to find space to store them. This gadget requires that you snap in the two rotating knobs that rotate the upper piece but unfortunately they snap in but can’t be removed after that. Yes, I could get some needle-nose pliers and compress the legs to get them out, but that’s a pain, and I might break them. With the knobs installed, it’s an awkwardly shaped item to store. It would have been much better if the knobs did not snap in at all…when you use this device you are necessarily pushing down on the knobs, so they are not going anywhere, and if they were easily removable, when you’re done you simply pull them out. Better yet, these knobs are too big to store in-between the bottom and top pieces…IF they were smaller, maybe oval in shape, they could be stored between the bottom and top pieces.

Time saver
Why didn’t I buy this sooner?? I make a lot meals/appetizers/snacks that have shredded chicken and it’s a process to use forks or allow it to cool enough for hand shredding. This holds a large chicken breast, press down the lid, twist a few times and you’re done. It is super easy to use, saves me so much time, I use a brush to clean mine, grip is good. If your chicken is really big you may find some pieces that didn’t shred all the way. Just put it back in there and give it a spin.

Versatile uses and highly recommend
I make toppers for our 2 German Sheperds and usually cook 6-10 lbs of chicken breasts a week and then have to spend hours shredding it to go in with the rice and vegetable to be bagged. THIS was a game changer! I can get done in a fourth of the time. Once you set it on the counter it doesn’t move around and it is super easy to manuever. I usually throw mine in the dishwasher and it cleans nicely. I highly recommend. I loved it so much I bought one for my mom who also makes the toppers for her 2 boxers..
