I use this all the time
I use Norton all the time on my computer. But it very expensive to renew the contract at the year. So I come here, purchase this for a fraction of the cost. I install it right to my old account. Best thing I’ve ever done. But there are still things that this doesn’t do. For those you have to pay the company direct. These are only utilities you have to purchase the virus protection separately. This cleans the unwanted junk off your computer. It fixes broken registry’s. It works well and fast.

good for what I needed
I’m not sure my computer is running any faster but it’s no longer freezing up or having programs become “unresponsive.” This is a one year license not an actual program you own, as in the old days, so just be aware of that. It was easy to install and use but do be careful when it “fixed” all the flaws it found it erased much of my desktop – some shortcuts but not others (easy to fix) and pictures and pdfs that I’d stored there but nowhere else. It also erased the recycle bin so they are gone for good. Back up before using and go to settings to adjust for what you want before using. In all, I’m happy with it since my very old Windows 7 computer was about to be history but is now working fine.

Fraud
It says 10 devices, but that’s a lie. Please do not fall for this. I do not want this to renew. This is a scam. Beware.I bought this to replace a current subscription to the same software, but Norton no longer allows you to enter a new key code into the current software. At Norton’s behest, I deleted Utilities from my computer and then reinstalled it from my Norton account’s “My Subscriptions” section. The software loads fine but still gives me the “software expired” message. I have had multiple help center sessions (Hours and Hours) with Norton, and they can’t figure it out. The kicker is that this is supposed to be good for use on up to 10 computers, and I can’t get it to install on one. Norton’s help wanted me to update my subscription renewal payment options to get it to work. It didn’t help, and now they are going to be able to automatically renew my subscription to non-working software. Norton has just become a scam company. I have Norton 360 Platinum. 360, as in 360 degrees, “we have you covered from all directions”… All the software does is constantly try to get me to subscribe to other “protection” products that should be included with 360 (like Norton utilities). I recommend you steer clear of Norton altogether; they are worse than the scammers they are supposed to protect you from.

Every year I purchase Norton Antivirus!
I’ve tried many different antivirus’ for my laptop, ipad and iphones that we have in our family. So far Norton Ultimate Utilities works very well and is easy to install. It keeps all my software updates and deletes any files that are old. I found it is easier and cheaper to purchase this every year instead of renewing it since it saves me a lot of money. One last thing, I wanted to mention i also purchase Norton 360 Antivirus as well. It is very easy to understand. Over the years my family and I have never been hacked. So I can highly recommend this product. I’ve also talked to Norton when I had any issues and found it very easy to contact them and resolve any issues I was worried about.

Good product, but annoying company.
Norton does a good job, but they constantly bombard you with scary notifications about your computer and your identity security that are not part of the package, and then try to entice you to buy an upgrade. It’s really annoying. And the other complaint about Norton is that they charge you an exorbitant amount to auto-renew, but if you cancel auto-renewal and then purchase from Amazon, it’s about 1/4 of the price. They try very hard to keep getting more money from you and it’s really pathetic. But the product seems to work well, as long as you are willing to put up with their annoying antics.

It’s good for 5 PCs
I have only used Norton products since 1995, I have “never” had a problem. I use this product in conjunction with Norton 360 Deluxe (not with LifeLock, it doesn’t secure data and it’s misleading)

very good product if you can install on your PC
Purchased this item(Norton Utilities Ultimate) today,2/16/25. attempted to download/install and was blocked by Microsoft. Norton also blocked me and stated that the product key was no longer valid and cannot be used. MICROSOFT: The app you’re trying to install isn’t a Microsoft-verified app.
