We purchased our first 12oz Wide Mouth Hydro Flask over two years ago, and it’s been nothing short of amazing. This bottle has survived daily use by a very active toddler and still looks almost brand new. My child was thrilled to pick out a fresh one, and I have to say, the new designs are vibrant and fun.However, I did notice that the newer model (purple) seems slightly smaller than our original (mint), even though both are labeled as 12oz. It’s not a deal-breaker by any means, but it’s something worth mentioning. I’m now on my second bottle, and I’m impressed with its simple, durable design. Unlike other bottles with lots of silicone components, this one only has silicone where it sits in the base. The strew is remarkably sturdy and withstands heavy chewing without breaking down. What I love most is how easy it is to clean – just three parts to wash, the straw opens up completely so you can scrub out any food particles that get stuck inside.The insulation is excellent too. It keeps drinks cold for hours, even when I’ve accidentally left it in a hot car. The bottle handles drops like a champ, and it’s perfectly sized for my 3-year old to carry around independently. Overall, it’s a well-designed, practical bottle opener hat actually delivers what it promises.

It’s the perfect size for my preschooler to carry around. It actually helps her drink more water, since she gets to carry around a water bottle like mine. They are easy to open with a pop up tab for carrying. There’s a “boot” or basically extra plastic, around the base of it so even when your child slams it down it doesn’t make a loud bang. I found this feature to make it well worth the price in addition to the great quality. It keeps her water icy cold throughout the whole day. It’s also easy to clean compared to other water bottles I have bought her. If you are considering a water bottle for your child I would recommend this one highly due to quality, brand reputation and the features it includes!

My son’s superhero name is “Super-Destructor”. He destroys the average water bottle within a week, sometimes within a day. He’s had two hydroflasks and both have lasted months to a year. He loves this red one, we just changed out to a black lid. Keeps ice water cold all day. While this doesn’t have a cute kid design we put stickers on it to give it that effect. Def recommend for any other small minions particularly skilled at destruction.
