Great products & AMAZING customer service!
This is my 3rd HelloBaby product! I received this monitor as a gift in 2023. I loved it! Easy to use, picture quality was great in color and night vision. I purchased a second HelloBaby monitor (different model) that was cheaper & smaller to make it easier to take along on travel or family visits; It gets the job done (still have it and is working great). Unfortunately, my 2023 monitor broke a few days ago. It’s been dropped quite a bit, so it had nothing to do with the product. It’s been surprisingly very durable as there were times I thought it for sure had broken. Tiny hands are quick and powerful! But this last time, the monitor finally gave out. So of course, I planned to purchase another monitor set because you can connect up to 4 cameras to it and my 2023 camera worked just fine. Upon receiving it, the connection fails with my old camera. But the connection with the new monitor and new camera was a piece of cake. I contacted HelloBaby customer service to get assistance with the connection and I received a VERY quick response. That was my first surprise. But not only that, upon discussing my issue, they sent me a whole new camera because my 2023 camera was no longer compatible as there was an update to the 2025 cameras! Talk about amazing customer service! The entire time, they were friendly, understanding, and provided quick responses. This is probably my 2nd review ever, but my first POSITIVE review because how could I possibly not mention what a breeze this company made it to solve my issue. And from what I see, my review is one of many that rave about their customer service. I can also say, the upgrades have been phenomenal. The screen appears to be clearer (I had 0 complaints before so this is fantastic) and the battery life lasts so much longer. I also love the date and time stamp that automatically appears on the screen—as busy parents, days are a blur and our eyes are often on the monitors while trying to get things done, beats having to hunt down a phone because those wind up getting lost while doing a million things while baby naps! I was a happy customer before, but after this AMAZING Customer Service experience, I am even more thrilled about their products. Truly amazing that they’ve given a lot of busy, stressed out parents one less problem to worry about! Thank you HelloBaby!!!

Great Quality and Big Screen!
This baby monitor is everything we needed. Our situation requires us to use this for our elderly grandma who has severe dementia, and it works like a charm!PROS:The Screen on the Monitor is very wide, and has 2 zoom options. And the picture quality is crystal clear! It’s not grainy like other monitors!During the night, the screen switches to Nighttime mode, which is basically night vision which is awesome!The audio output is also clear. You can talk both ways, to the camera and through the monitor, and both sides are clear, no static sounds!The range goes a long ways. As long as you don’t like in a steel building, the connection goes all over our house, and even outside!CONS:My ONLY wish is that the camera could spin a complete 360. Sometimes I need to be able to follow her throughout the room, and the camera will reach a limit and stop spinning.If you’re looking for a great, inexpensive monitor that has great quality, then this is the one! Great camera and monitor
Easy to set up. No wi-fi needed. Just plug it in and it’s ready to go. I did buy the Hello Baby mount. We use this to watch our puppy in her crate. The battery to monitor easily lasts through the night if you need to take the monitor to a different room. Picture is clear. I love that you can move the camera from the monitor since the puppy moves around the crate. It is nice that there are built in lullabies that you can play. Customer service is awesome!! Highly recommend this product

Great monitor, easy to use, great image and sound quality
I am obsessed with this baby monitor. It is easy to use, has good night vision, and great sound quality. I originally started with a Nanit monitor and to be honest I thought having to open an app on my phone was cumbersome and didn’t give me the ease that I was looking for. With this monitor, I can carry around the lightweight screen during nap time and set it up on my nightstand at night to be able to quickly look at it when I hear my baby in the middle of the night. I found this to be especially beneficial during the early days of transitioning my little one to his crib.

It’s a pretty good option!
It works pretty well for what it does. The temperature gauge is wonky, though, so we had to buy a separate temp reader for the room instead. Picture quality is decent but not amazing — it isn’t as crisp as I’d hoped, and movement has a slight delay. Sound quality is okay. You can talk to your baby through it, but the output sounds a little bit robotic.All in all, though, it’s done its job for us.

I ordered the baby video monitor with 2 cameras from HelloBaby, and I am thrilled with my purchase! $100 for the whole setup. I like the monitors that don’t connect to wifi so this was perfect for me. It came already ready to go! Didn’t have to charge anything. Just plugged in the cameras, turned on the monitor, paired the cameras to it and it was ready to go! I didn’t need to even look at the instructions, it was so easy to figure out. It might be helpful to note that I’ve had other baby monitors before so maybe that’s why it was so easy. It is quite similar to my last monitor set up.The Range of motion is amazing on these, almost full 360 circle, moves quickly and quietly. Camera quality is very good, and the night vision on them is pretty good too. Let’s you see what you need to see.I would say the value of the product is very good for the price.Some features include night vision, ability to switch between 2 cameras manually or automatically, alerts can be set on the monitor if the camera detects high or low temp in the room, and you can set that to what temps you want it to alert you at, and lots of other features that I dont really need. All I needed was to be able to monitor 2 different rooms at night and this allows me to do so.The cameras come with wall mounting screws etc, but I just set them on the dressers and they sit perfectly.All in all I am very happy with this purchase, especially with what I got for the price. Very good deal! Love!

Large display, long battery life, solid connection, this one is a winner!
I have been using the Hellobaby monitor nightly for 3 months without a single issue! I have an expensive wifi-connected monitor with all the bells and whistles but this Hellobaby No WiFi 5” monitor is the one I trust to work every single night. The expensive wifi monitor has connectivity issues and doesn’t show me the camera feed immediately when I want to see it. I used a previous model from Hellobaby (also non-wifi) for a couple of years and it worked great before the battery on the monitor wouldn’t last through the night so I upgraded to this model which has way better battery life, a bigger screen, and more range with the flip up antenna. This is an absolute MUST for any parent who wants hassle-free monitoring of their child without breaking the bank to do so.Setup is super simple: unbox everything, charge the monitor, plug in the camera and then just go into settings and configure to your liking…BOOM, done! You’re ready to keep an eye on your little one. The zoom/pan/tilt is very helpful if my son is somewhere else in his bedroom, I can move the camera via the monitor controls to get a better view of his room. I haven’t had a single connection issue, it’s been solid no matter where I’m at in my house, even if I’m outside!The two-way talk feature works great as well. Sometimes I need to tell my little guy something and he’s able to hear me clearly which saves me a trip upstairs for something as simple as “please get back in your bed.” I like that the Eco Mode can be set for different levels whether you want it to activate at the slightest noise or if it requires a little louder noise. The only thing I had to change was to put a dimming strip over the green LED on the monitor because when it’s on my nightstand in my completely dark room, it was too bright but that’s an easy fix and I still highly recommend this monitor for anyone who wants peace of mind for keeping an eye (and ear) on their little one!

2 wks in, BEST for wandering patient Safety!
After 2 wks I sincerely hope I don’t have to downgrade this rating as this item has been a lifechanger for actually getting sleep and a bit of free range being a full-time caregiver for a child or anyone who has cognitive disability or wanders (esp at night) combined with two mattress and chair alarms by Lunderg.. I have 2 of these baby cams, one for bedroom and one for daytime room. I tried using high rated by consumer reports wifi camera but it repeatedly wouldn’t pair with my router (others had this issue) and I did not want to buy their hub for 1 or 2 indoor cameras. I also appreciate thes cams use frequency hopping tech (thank you, movie star inventor Heddy Lamar) so data does not get uploaded to the internet. As I am mostly here all the time, I’m not checking in from some other place. I would definitely buy wifi cam again if that were the situation. These have good picture with the black & white night time and color daytime or with lights on. You can pan around the room to follow the person or child to make sure they aren’t doing anything too dangerous so that you can stay in bed if the Lunderg bed alarm wakes you that they have gotten out of bed or chair. You can go to bathroom, take shower or phone call without worry and if seat or bed alarm pager goes off, you can look at the camera to see if they are doing anything dangerous and come running or even speak through the camera and say please go sit down again if you think that won’t startle them because it depends on the mental capacity of the person or child you are trying to keep safe. It also has a eco mode sound alert so that the screen will go dark unless it hears sound from the child/person/baby crying or calling. It is working for us in a 2 story house with everyone who is a caregiver here so there is never a time that the individual is greatly at risk. Before I had these 2 products I found individual wandering, trying to go outside, on floor unable to get up etc. I don’t think this device should be called Hello, baby, I think it should be called, Hello Sanity!! The cameras need to be charged every day to get full bars. They have a little stand so that you can set it next to where you sleep or where you are sitting. The antenna makes 1000 feet expected range more likely bt any large amt glass or concrete could change the range. I am in a house that has both and so far I am satisfied and grateful so if these keep working and the recharge batts don’t go out I will be satisfied.

Great look, low sound
I was using the infant optics DXL-8 and the monitor sound went out, and never came back fully. It worked when it wanted to, and after 2 nights of that, that was enough. Granted that beast was 6 years old and hooked to two cameras. However, my daughter was middle of the night crying/yelling on opposite ends of the house and I slept right through, because I couldn’t hear her. I needed something that could be delivered today, as our local targets monitors reviews weren’t great for what was in store! I also wasn’t trying to spend $$$ on an expensive system again, because she’s now 3, and we won’t need this once she’s a little bigger. So I settled with this one. The reviews were overall positive, and the price was good. I opened this product and I was immediately wowed! The look is stunning, clean and modern. It’s so easy to use and I can’t believe the bang for the buck. The durability over all seems great. The infant optics ALWAYS felt so cheap to me. I was actually a little disappointed that’s the one I settled on. This one is full color, and so far keeps connectivity better than the $180 competitor I was using. The screen is huge and a big upgrade. Hello DXR, catch up. I’m interested to see if it reaches our fire pit outside (the dxr-8) hardly reached and dropped single if I’d even move an inch. The infant optics would drop connectivity if my phone was using wifi or tv was streaming next to the monitor. So far I’m not having that issue at all. HOWEVER, the problem with this is, a big kicker. It is SO quiet. Like my DXR on the lowest setting is what this is, on its highest. I hope I can hear her well enough through the night. I’ll drop or add stars after a couple of nights. So far I love it, but it is far too quiet to hear her over the tv across the room… I’m now watching tv with captions on lol. Okay 2 nights in and it’s honestly amazing! I do keep any noise low because I won’t hear the monitor, over background sounds in my room, but that’s no big deal! 10/10
