    Small, Yet Mighty!

I wanted to wait to write a review until I had tested the Little Green on multiple types of stains on various fabrics/carpets, and it has not disappointed. So far, I’ve had 100% success cleaning up cat vomit, dog bile, and mud. These stains were cleaned off a wool throw rug, nylon/polyester blend carpet, and polyester upholstery, respectively. I used the provided Bissel Spot & Stain Febreeze solution and didn’t find it to have an overwhelming scent.Pros:- It works which is the biggest thing for me! Plus, a couple of these stains, like the cat vomit one on the living room wool rug, had been there for months and nothing I tried would get it out.- The machine is relatively light to carry around and is compact to stow away when finished.- I liked that the electrical cord was very long which made it easy to use in rooms with only a few outlets.- Any animal lover will know that no matter how much vacuuming you do, there’s always going to be some stray hairs left behind. I’m pleasantly surprised that the Little Green has yet to get clogged while I’ve been cleaning. I always wash the pieces after each use, but it seems like my Lab’s hair could clog anything. But, not Little Green!Cons:- I wish I could remove the hose completely to clean it, but the parts that can be removed to clean are easy to do so.- When you load up the water-solution mixture into its tub and turn it upside down to install it into the machine, it does leak a little bit. Once it’s in the machine, it doesn’t continue leaking but it did catch me off guard the first time I used it thinking I did something wrong.- I wish the instructions told me how best to use each of the attachments. It tells you how to install them, but I had to search online for more guidance on appropriate usage.Overall, the cons are very small things compared to the pros. Especially if you have animals (or children), I would highly recommend this little guy. I’ve been telling family and friends about it ever since I got mine!

    Works great

This is a great little machine. It’s got a long cord and a decent (perfect, maybe) length hose, so I can get at parts of the house which might otherwise be difficult. It’s easy to use, doesn’t take up too much space, and pulls a ton of grime from the carpets.I initially got it for dealing with a cat pee situation (which has mostly been solved at the cat level, until today). If you’re using it for cat pee, I recommend first using it on the cat pee without using the sprayer at all, and then doing another quick pass with the detergent/sprayer. Knowing what I know now, though, I’d buy this even without the cat pee situation for use on the high-traffic area by the front door.

    Lifesaver

Our dog got a disease from a wild animal and had diarrhea all over my studio rug and our bedroom rug all night before we knew she was sick.I tried spot cleaning with a rag and vinegar water and it left yellow stains. I tried letting some dry and scraping it up and then spot cleaning, and that was better but not thorough.I didn’t want the expense of replacing both wool rugs, so I ordered this magical spot cleaner and am so happy I did.In about an hour I got everything up from both rugs, including set-in stains I had tried for a week to get out by soaking and blotting. The design makes it easy to move around behind me. It’s not too heavy, even full of water. And the amount of water it holds did the spots on both rugs. The compact design makes it easy to use and store. You’ll need one smallish Phillips screwdriver to assemble it, but the other parts snap into place, and it’s easy enough that my 4-year-old granddaughter helped me with assemble and running it.She loves sucking the dirty water back out of the rug with the brush hand tool. The suction is powerful. I got at least half the water back in the waste tank, and oh my, it was dirty. The rug felt pretty dry when it was over and I didn’t worry about it warping the wood floor underneath.I had to crawl around on the floor, which I wouldn’t with an upright, but the convenience of this spot cleaning tool is worth it. It’s so much easier to handle and store and to spot clean furniture. And it fits into tight spaces better and even sits on an end table quite comfortably. In the end, it got up all the biologic material and most of the stains. There is a faint bit of yellow in one spot on each rug where I tried to clean before and just ground it in deeper. But it removed most of it, and anyone who doesn’t know it’s there won’t see it. And it picked up such a mess that I didn’t know if I’d ever get it all out. It works well, and I’m so happy to have it. The quality seems good. But I think plastic attachments and clips may break off if banged around too much. It’s not an industrial machine, but it exceeds my expectations for home use.

    Pretty good little cleaning tool

This is a pretty good little cleaner. Without even using the provided soap, the provided nozzles can spray water on stains (I have cats…need I say more) and without using the scrub feature, just letting it sit for a minute or so, I can then suck up the stain and not imbed any foreign material into the carpet. Then I just let it dry and the stain is gone. I love it. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5-star rating is that one of the attachments doesn’t have a good sprayer but that is probably just a fluke. It’s portable and easy to use. And the soap does work well, although I don’t use it often.

Would Give 10 Stars if I Could – This MACHINE is AWESOME!

The media could not be loaded.

First let me say I don’t normally take time to write reviews but I just had to share my story because I’m still giddy about how well this machine worked.I recently purchased a beautiful cream, designer chair at a furniture consignment shop and the lighting must have been bad in the store because I didn’t notice at all that it was quite dirty. I was just so excited that it was exactly what I had been looking for – color, size, style and price! When I got it home it was perfect in every way EXCEPT the off-white that was so perfect in the fluorescent lighting was a dingy EWWW in the natural light of our living room. I took the armrest covers off and YUCK! I noticed how dirty the arms were and then noticed that I hadn’t looked that closely on the store – there were spots all over the chair! The store doesn’t take returns AND I loved everything about the chair except the grime and spots (how did I not notice those in the store???) so I googled best upholstery cleaner and the BISSELL Little Green Machine showed up as top-rated in multiple blogs so I searched for it on Amazon. It had awesome reviews confirming what the blogs has said so I ordered it.It came super-fast and was easy to set up. I got to work. Well, my sweet husband got to work. My plan was to have him handle the task as he’s usually in charge of the grimy stuff. Love that man. 😊🙏Well I had no idea cleaning upholstery could be so fun! This little machine sucked the grime right out! It was really satisfying to see it get sucked out right before my eyes. Before my husband knew it, he was free to watch his baseball game because I had taken over. When I was finished the cream chair looked like new!And I didn’t stop there.I had a 14-year old blue chair in my home office that had weathered two babies, lots of journaling and phone conversations with my feet tucked up underneath me, latte spills and just…a full life! Our whole family loves mommy’s blue chair as it’s where good conversations and snuggles have happened my kids’ entire lives. When we recently remodeled our home I was looking for a new chair for myself. My whole family protested because they loved it so much. It bummed me out because – well LOOK at the “before” photos of the blue chair I posted. Our whole house was clean and fresh from the much-needed after 17 years in the house remodel. Having to look at that chair, as much as I loved the memories of it, grossed me out.So when I finished the cream chair I thought, I’m going to see what the BISSELL Little Green Machine could do for the blue chair. I figured, worst case scenario it would make it worse and then I’d HAVE to get my new chair. 😀I honestly didn’t think it would make a difference. I had actually had a professional rug + upholstery cleaner look at it and say he couldn’t do anything to make it look better just two months ago during the remodel. So despite seeing the INCREDIBLE results on the cream chair, my expectations were low. Additionally, this was an inexpensive chair with a sueded microfiber fabric – not nearly as well made as the cream chair so I wasn’t sure if the not super-sturdy fabric would withstand the cleaning fluid or brush.I was blown away. As you can see by the Before and After photos – the BISSELL mighty little machine did an amazing job!!! The blue chair is saved and we are ALL excited. Yes, even me. 😃 I just wish I would have taken videos of cleaning the blue chair – the water was SO dirty. GROSS!Again though, it was SO satisfying throughout the process to see the dirt come out and have brand new chairs. This machine is WELL worth the very reasonable price and I also absolutely love being able to restore two chairs rather than buy new ones. Less landfill and consumerism to help the planet. And the pocketbook!!!A little technique scoop (if you’re still reading) – on the cream chair we sprayed the cleaning water from the machine on the area, then sprayed Resolve and let it sit for a minute or two before we sucked up the dirt. The Resolve did make the dirty water in the tank pretty foamy and I’m not sure if it could damage the machine or the chair but when we tried it we were kind of thinking we didn’t have anything to lose as the fabric was so grungy when we got it home to natural light, we would not have kept the chair if the BISSELL didn’t work. The machine seems totally fine and of course the chair is now clean and beautiful!I could not possibly love this little machine more and now I can feel much more confident with all of our new carpet and furniture because if we get a spill or a stain this lightly little green machine will take care of it!I highly recommend the BISSELL Little Green Machine!

Outstanding Spot Cleaner – A Game-Changer for Families with Children

I recently purchased the Bissell Little Green Cordless Spot Cleaner, and I have to say, I’m incredibly impressed with its design, functionality, and results. It’s definitely a must-have for families, especially those with young children and toddlers who are constantly making messes.Design and Build Quality:The design of this spot cleaner is sleek and professional. It’s compact, lightweight, and has a high-end feel that gives you confidence in its durability. It’s easy to hold and maneuver, which is great for getting into tight spaces like couch cushions and corners. The overall look is very modern and aesthetically pleasing, which is a bonus if you plan on leaving it out when not in use.Ease of Use:Using the Bissell Little Green is straightforward, but it does take a bit of practice to master. The first time I used it, I tackled some tough spots on my couch (which, as a parent of toddlers, was covered in a mixture of juice, food stains, and various other messes). I initially struggled because I didn’t spray enough of the cleaning solution on the fabric. As a result, the suction didn’t pick up as much of the liquid, and the cleaning didn’t seem as effective. However, after some trial and error, I figured out that the key is to be generous with the spray, especially on heavily soiled areas.Cleaning Effectiveness:The second time I used the cleaner (the next day), I made sure to thoroughly wet the fabric before using the suction. When I did this, the results were phenomenal. I could actually see the dirt and stains being lifted out of the fabric, and the couch looked nearly brand new by the time I was finished. The suction power is good, but it really shines when you apply the right amount of cleaning solution and use multiple passes over the heavily soiled areas. This process definitely requires a bit of patience, but once you get the hang of it, the cleaner works like a charm.Battery Life and Coverage:The battery life on a full charge is impressive. I was able to clean two L-shaped couches completely (seating areas, not the back or armrests) on a single charge, and the machine was still going strong when I finished. If you’re planning to clean a full couch—seat, back, and armrests—I’d recommend charging the unit fully for each couch to ensure you have enough juice. It’s not the longest-lasting battery, but it’s more than adequate for typical spot-cleaning tasks.Maintenance and Cleaning the Unit:Cleaning the Bissell Little Green after use is incredibly easy. The tank is simple to empty, and the nozzle is easy to rinse. There’s no complicated maintenance required, which is a huge plus. The fact that the unit is cordless also makes it very convenient to use, as you don’t have to worry about cords getting in the way.Critical Notes: • Initial Learning Curve: As mentioned, the learning curve is a little steep when you first use it. If you don’t spray enough solution or don’t let the suction do its job properly, the results won’t be as good as they could be. It’s important to be generous with the cleaning solution and use a methodical approach, especially for stubborn stains. • Battery Life: While the battery life is decent, I wouldn’t expect it to last for extensive cleaning of multiple pieces of furniture in one go. If you need to clean a whole couch (including the back and armrests), you’ll likely need to recharge in between.Final Thoughts:Overall, the Bissell Little Green Cordless Spot Cleaner is an outstanding product. Once you get the hang of it, it provides incredible results. I was honestly shocked at how clean my couch looked after using it. It’s definitely worth the investment, especially if you have children or pets who frequently make messes on your furniture. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, particularly for the cordless version, but it’s absolutely worth every penny. Plus, Bissell offers a three-year warranty, which adds extra peace of mind.If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend giving it a try. It’s a game-changer for keeping your furniture looking fresh and clean.

The Little Green That Saves Big Messes

⭐ OverviewThe Bissell Little Green Pet Deluxe is a compact, handheld “spot cleaner” designed for tackling small wet/dry messes—especially pet-related stains—on upholstery, carpets, car interiors, and stairs. According to the manufacturer, it includes tools like a 3” Tough Stain Tool, a Stain Trapper Tool, and a HydroRinse self-cleaning hose attachment. ⸻✅ Pros (What Works Well) 1. Effective on Spot StainsUsers and independent reviews often testify that it does a good job removing fresh spills, pet stains, or tracked-in dirt. For example, Good Morning America noted that after some scrubbing, the machine lifted ketchup and dirt stains on rugs and upholstery. 2. Portable & Easy to ManeuverIts size and design make it convenient to carry around, go up stairs, and reach small or awkward areas. Many people like that it’s not as bulky as full-size carpet cleaners. 3. Useful Accessories • The Stain Trapper Tool is a smart add-on: it collects the messy liquid messes separately, letting you dispose of them without contaminating the main tank. • The HydroRinse hose cleaning tool helps flush out the hose after use, reducing the chance of mildew or odor buildup. 4. Good Suction & Spray for Spot TasksIt offers decent suction power for a unit of this size and sprays cleaning solution while vacuuming, making it a “spray-scrub-suction” tool. 5. Affordable as a Supplementary CleanerIt’s not meant to replace deep-cleaning systems, but for spot jobs, it offers a cost-effective option. ⸻⚠️ Cons & Limitations (What to Watch Out For) 1. Limited Tank / VolumeBecause it’s compact, you’ll often find yourself refilling or emptying the tank during more extensive tasks. This is fine for small jobs but not ideal if you’re cleaning large areas. 2. Drying Time RequiredSurfaces will get wet in the process, so you’ll need to allow time for them to dry. For thick fabrics or deep carpets, drying can be slow. 3. Hair Clogging & MaintenanceUsers with pets report the brush heads and suction paths can clog with fur, necessitating cleaning after every use to maintain performance. 4. Short Hose & Awkward PartsSome users on forums criticize the hose as being too short, making it cumbersome in certain contexts. Also, some parts (like the round reservoirs) may make it awkward to fill or stand upright during setup. > “You can’t put it down to fill the water reservoir. And the hose is too short … Always opt for parts that you don’t need two hands to make stand up on their own.” 5. Not a Replacement for Deep CleanersIt’s designed for spot jobs. Set-in stains, deeply soiled carpets, or full-room cleans may outperform its capabilities. Many reviewers still recommend a full-size or professional system for serious jobs. ⸻🧾 Overall VerdictIf your goal is spot cleaning, especially for pet messes on upholstery, stairs, or car seats, the Bissell Little Green Pet Deluxe is a solid tool. It’s not perfect, but in its niche, it performs well: • It’s a great “emergency / between deep-cleans” option. • It handles common stains, pet accidents, and small spills with reasonable efficiency. • It’s compact and relatively easy to store.Just be aware of its limitations: small tank size, need for maintenance (especially with pet hair), and drying time. If you frequently clean large carpets or want a deeper full-room clean, you’ll still need a more powerful unit.

    Lightweight, awesome cleaning!

I don’t know about what the influencers have said about this —I’m not big on influencers, and I’m not easily influenced—solid testing and reviewing web sites placed the Bissell Little Green Machine at the top of their lists, or minimally second.Packed well, and easy to unpack, the unit came just as advertised: machine, trial-sized Bissell cleaning formula, HydroRinse Self Cleaning Tool, 3” Tough Stain Tool, and the Spraying Crevice Tool, Instruction booklet. Assembly of the two parts that needed to put in their permanent positions was simple, with clear instructions, and required just a Phillips head screwdriver. The hose is a bit short, but the power cord is long enough to allow for a lot of movement. The unit is very lightweight and easy to move around.I’m a farmer, and I purchased this to clean my truck and my upholstered recliner, both of which can get really filthy. Both have a lot of dirt to deal with, and my elderly dog has peed on both. I’ve used enzyme spray on both, and that kept the odor under control, but it was clear that a deep cleaning was needed.I decided to start with just water to see how how much dirt, stains, and odor I could clean up. In the truck, using the Tough Stain Tool, I sprayed the seats and carpets with water to get things loosened up. After a few minutes, I began the cleaning. It was so easy! The trigger activated a warm water spray from the clean water reservoir, and the vacuum sucked up the water and dirt. It was easy to see when the water was vacuuming up clean, and when there was no more water to pull out of the upholstery.I went over the carpet once, as it’s pretty much a lost cause, but the seats twice. An unbelievable amount of filth came out during both cleanings, and the seats were sparkling clean and odor free. They dried rapidly indicating that the vacuuming truly did extract most of the water used in cleaning. Then, I turned to the recliner. Also using just warm water, I went over the seat, footrest, and arms as they were the most soiled. Again, an astonishing amount of dirt was pulled out, but the odor remains. I’m interested to see how the pet odor cleaning fluid will work on this, and I’ll do it again soon.At the end of cleaning, it was simple to pop off the dirty water reservoir, dump the contents, then rinse it out. The hose cleaning tool made it easy to rinse out the hose leaving it clean.Packing up for storage is easy with a bracket to wind up the power cord neatly, a bracket that holds the hose tight to the vacuum body, and places to hold the accessories.I’ve already recommended this to several family members and friends. It is terrific.

No leakage, but hard to clean.

After having this a few months I can say that overall this product is very decent for the price. I like that it’s portable and easy to use. I recommend reading the instructions, you have to assemble it once delivered.I wish it was easier to clean. The nozzle attachment is not easy to clean whatsoever. There will always be little pieces of debris caught in there, no matter what you do. It’s the cleaning issue that makes it 4 stars. Plus you have to take it all apart and let it air dry, kind of inconvenient.I haven’t experienced any leaking issues at all. Zero. That was a concern I had when reading other reviews before I ordered this, but idk, mine doesn’t leak. Win for me.Overall I’d recommend this, especially if you have pets and need something smile and small to clean up messes.
