Get one if you have cats!
I got the regular Shark Cyclone PET specifically because I didn’t want to drag out my full size Shark every time the cats made a mess. I use this to clean up around the litter box, vacuum off the cat trees, do the furniture, and other little cat messes. I also use it at my desk for crumbs and such. Works great. I have been using it for a little over 2 months without issues. I got it on sale for $50.

Purrrfect handheld vacuum for pets
I can honestly say this is one of the best vacuums I’ve ever used! I have a Labrador who sheds A LOT, and the fur on my stairs was always a struggle to clean with bigger vacuums. The Shark UltraCyclone Pet Pro Plus has been a game changer. It’s lightweight, super easy to handle, and the suction power is strong enough to pick up fur without getting clogged. I was impressed by how quickly it picked up all the hair, even in the corners and edges of the stairs. The attachments are also really handy for different surfaces, and cleanup is simple. If you have pets that shed, this vacuum is a must-have. It saves me time, effort, and keeps my home looking so much cleaner!

Over a year later and still working fine
I bought it over a year ago and it’s still working fine. It’s great for cleaning up after kids and picks up cereal and crumbs easily. Great for quick clean up in the car. It isn’t quite strong enough to do the entire interior carpet of the car but helps with maintaining it. Emptying and cleaning the filter is easy. It gets a decent amount of time on a full charge. The only problem was the charger. The piece that plugs into the vacuum was hard to connect from the first day and broke off after a few uses. I called Shark and they said the warranty (I purchased the two year one) does not include the charger so I had to buy one. The new charger fit better and works fine with the plug adapter and with the USB port in the car. It’s a bit loud but since I don’t use it for long periods of time it’s not a problem.

Great vac!
I just purchased this shark to replace my older model and they seem to work exactly the same, well enough power to clean a normal size home on one charge. Ive used these vacuums for years to clean my house top to bottom daily. When someone asks what my favorite household item is, I always recommend the shark hand vac because its one of the reasons my house stays clean from crumbs, dust bunnies, pet hair, lint, and surprise messes. Imo this little helper is priceless.

Not sure about this thing…
Isn’t it annoying when videos supposedly related to the item you’re considering purchasing end up being for another product by the same brand? I was viewing a video that was on the page for this Shark CH701 Cyclone PET Handheld Vacuum, and I was very happy to see that it came with a duster brush attachment, as well as the pet hair and crevice tools. It looked like the same item, but it turns out it wasn’t. While I’m happy enough with the pet hair removal tool, I would have found a duster brush very handy. Because the nozzle on the CH701 is hard plastic, I definitely don’t want to be scraping that nozzle across my wood furniture to dust it. I don’t even like scraping it across my nice hardwood floors. But I have it now, and it does a more or less OK job at sucking up most of the stray cat litter, but it could do a lot better. The pet hair pick-up brush is a little more effective, though when I ran a lint roller over the surface I’d just used the pet brush on, the lint tape still picked up some hair. But I’m not complaining, as using this vacuum first to clean cat hair off upholstered furniture is saving me reams of roller tape and lots of time. I just give the surface another quick going over with lint tape to pick up what little hair the vacuum leaves behind, and I’m satisfied with that. But what’s really got me stumped about this vacuum is the filter. Don’t know if this is how it’s supposed to work, but the filter cup itself — though completely sealed in its receptacle — will have only a few grains of cat litter in it, and the rest of it ends up in the body of the vacuum, and any hair or dust adheres to the outside of the filter. Seems a bit odd, and makes it difficult to clean. Instead of shaking out dust and debris from inside the filter cup, I have to brush off what’s accumulated on the outside, which is pretty much everything that the vacuum managed to pick up. The filter has to be cleaned after just a couple of minutes because there’s very little space between the exterior of the filter and the inner walls of the vacuum, and it quickly gets packed with dust and cat hair, while the filter cup itself is almost empty. There’s actually not that much hair and dust, but because there’s so little space around the outside of the filter, it takes only a minimal amount of debris to clog it up. Maybe that’s how the filter is supposed to work, but seems a odd to me. Though I’ve only had the vacuum for a week, I’m already avoiding using it in favor of my handy-dandy Oxo standing broom and dustpan. Maybe I’ll go back to the Shark videos and take another look at the model I thought I was buying, with the duster brush as well as the pet hair attachment. Though I wasn’t thinking I’d need to make an upgrade purchase after only a few days.

Still Going Strong Since 2021 – Reliable Daily Vacuum with a Few Minor Gripes.
I’ve been using the Shark CH951 UltraCyclone Pet Pro Plus Cordless Handheld Vacuum since 2021, and honestly, it’s still going strong. That’s saying a lot considering how often I use it – pretty much every day. Whether it’s crumbs on the kitchen floor, pet hair on the couch, or a quick sweep in the car, this little vacuum has held up surprisingly well over the years. The design is lightweight and easy to maneuver, which makes it a total breeze to use for quick cleanups. I don’t have to wrestle with cords or drag out the full-sized vacuum – just grab and go. The XL dust cup is definitely a bonus; I can go days before needing to empty it, even with regular use.Battery life is decent – it’s nothing groundbreaking, but it gets the job done. I’d say the runtime is about average for a cordless handheld vacuum. I usually get through my daily cleaning routine on a single charge, and charging it back up is pretty quick and easy.As for the suction, it’s not bad at all. It’s more than enough for surface debris, hard floors, furniture, and even car floor mats. Unfortunately the suction is not strong enough for car upholstery. It handles pet hair surprisingly well, especially with the motorized brush attachment, which I use constantly. That said, I do wish it had a bit more power for carpeted areas. It works, but you’ll likely have to go over spots a few times to get everything up, especially if it’s something ground-in, and even then it won’t fully clean the surface. That’s probably my only real complaint. One thing I really appreciate is that the filters are inexpensive and easy to replace. I’ve changed them a few times over the years, and it hasn’t been a hassle or a big cost. Super easy to swap them out, and you’re good to go.It’s also held up really well physically – no cracks, no fading, and the battery hasn’t noticeably declined in performance, even after a few years of regular use. Another gripe would be the see-through portion of the vacuum is impossible to clean. That kind of longevity isn’t something I take for granted with cordless appliances. One thing I’ve noticed is there will be a ton of leftover debris visible through the clear plastic, and you are unable to clean that portion out.All in all, this vacuum has been a reliable part of my daily routine. It’s great for quick cleanups, especially if you’ve got pets. If you’re looking for a solid handheld vacuum that will last, I’d definitely recommend this one or any of the Shark cordless vacuums. Just don’t expect it to deep clean your carpets like a full-size vacuum – it’s more for maintenance than a full scrub-down.Bottom line: After 3+ years of daily use, this thing still works great. It’s reliable, easy to maintain, and handles most everyday messes without any drama. I’m giving it 4 stars mainly because I wish the suction was a little stronger on carpets, but overall, it’s a solid buy.

A Solid 4 Star Product! Everything is great BUT it’s all about the charging!
This product is great! Very lightweight, powerful, picks up cat litter, dog hair, and all kinds of dust and dirt. Easy to empty bin and the attachments, especially the pet power brush, are awesome! So why not 5 stars? It really needs a docking station! You must keep this plugged in when you are not using it. If you don’t, you’ll find that the battery life will only last for a few minutes, and waiting six hours for it to fully charge is just too long and ruins the utility of this great product! Even their documentation tells you to keep it plugged in between using it. So if you don’t mind plugging this in after each use, you’ll get a solid 10 minutes of powerful cleaning. A docking station would take care of this issue and earn it another star, making it a 5 star review! Just remember to keep it fully charged and you’ll love it!

Good but not the best
It is pretty decent although from a Shark I was expecting to be wowed the suction sees comparable to my black and decker but cost more. It was easy to assemble and so far it is hanging in there but I have mixed feeling on battery life but I’ve only had it two months so I’ll have to update this.
