Awesome Tag It Is What It Is
I purchased 3 of these for my 3 small to medium sized cats back at the end of October 2016, As of the writing of this review 1 of them recently lost the white disk attached to the back while the other 2 so far are doing fine. Many on here would consider this a negative however, please this is my experience.The customer service for the company that makes and sells these tags is probably one of the BEST that I’ve come across in a long time. I emailed them with my concern a couple days ago to which I received a prompt response as soon as they got in that morning. As of the writing of this review the company has gone above and beyond in my opinion to make-it-right by replacing the original tag as well as providing one of there other tags as compensation for my inconvenience. This everybody is how a company should react when something goes wrong and I wanted to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation.To review this productYou will receive a metal tag made of nickel with a plastic white disk in the back that has the Q-Code on it as well as the info on how to activate your pets profile. This tag is similar to a microchip but for the fact it’s attached to the pets collar and not injected under their skin. I would recommend using both to have a dual layer of protection since tags can be removed and only by a chip can you prove ownership. The advantage of the tag though is that anybody can scan the Q-Code using their cell phone while a chip requires a trip to the vet to read which someone might or might not do. Please keep in mind that you have to create the profile and then activate the tag so both steps must be taken to ensure the code will work after scanning. Yes I’ve tested all of mine to ensure they all work.The web site profile is basic. However I personally likes that I can see other pets around and follow them as well as they can follow my pets. Kinda reminded me of a basic facebook for your pets. You get to have total freedom by putting whatever pictures you wish without or without comments as to what it is and all the pictures are posted on the community “board” for everybody to see.This tag will not “track” your pet and that is NOT what it says it will do. This tag will provide the location information of the tag when it’s scanned by someone allowing you to determine where your pet could possibly be or their general location. Still looks new!
I purchased this a year ago for a dog we adopted from the shelter. She does a lot of hard running and playing and it still looks new. I have tested the connectivity of it and it does tell you right where the tag is located.

Too bad there’s no app
It is a good add-on, but I wish it were a little better. Scan notifications are sent to a single email address, there isn’t an option to add more. There is no app for notifications. The free plan that comes with the tag will only save single most recent scan address at a time. You get 50 scans a month for free, if that matters.With 2 dogs and a family of 4 it would be nice for every family member to receive scan information. If you are not aware that your pet is lost you are relying on 1 person to regularly check their email and for the finder to notify you with the information you provide. After becoming aware of the email, the other 3 family members would have to go to the website to receive information faster. We have Apple air tags to track and they are also chipped. We all hope that a stranger will do the right thing.

Easy to set up. Just the right size for my 50 lb. Lab mix. Scanned it to test it while I was at home and I received an email alert with the exact address and a map that had a pin at my house. It’s been on my dog’s collar for about a week now and the QR code is still intact. I waited a week to review after reading some of the other reviews about the quality of this tag. My pup is extremely active, so hoping this tag can hold up. I like that my name and address are not on display, but easily accessible to anyone with a smartphone if my dog ever escaped our fenced-in yard. And I like the fact that an email is sent whenever the tag is scanned, so we have the location of the scan.

Amazing Product
I am editting to also say that they come in a few sizes. The one she is wearing in the photo is a big one that is probably for dogs, so I ordered her a small one. Still works great but not as big!These tags are awesome. You can link photos, contact information, cats name – all visible when someone scans the tag. And you get an automatic email alert and map of location when someone scans your cat’s tag. My cat has been hanging out at the bar down the street. The owner posted her on the FB neighborhood page where I live, trying to locate her owner. Anyway long story short I put this tag on her so all people know she has a home. I just cannot recommend this product enough!

Super cute and easy to set up!
I got this for my lab Desi as an extra safety measure, she’s already microchipped, but we just moved and I wanted it for ease of mind. With that being said, the Pet ID was super easy to set up, it didn’t take me any more than 5 minutes. The tag itself is cute and looks of good quality. I just received today though so we’ll see what the durability is like! 10/10

The physical tag is fine. My design was more red than pink, which didn’t bother me too much. The website was easy to set up, but it looks very dated. I want the best for my cats, but when I edit their profile, it feels like I’m posting an ad on Craigslist.

Awesome Tag It Is What It Is
I purchased 3 of these for my 3 small to medium sized cats back at the end of October 2016, As of the writing of this review 1 of them recently lost the white disk attached to the back while the other 2 so far are doing fine. Many on here would consider this a negative however, please this is my experience.The customer service for the company that makes and sells these tags is probably one of the BEST that I’ve come across in a long time. I emailed them with my concern a couple days ago to which I received a prompt response as soon as they got in that morning. As of the writing of this review the company has gone above and beyond in my opinion to make-it-right by replacing the original tag as well as providing one of there other tags as compensation for my inconvenience. This everybody is how a company should react when something goes wrong and I wanted to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation.To review this productYou will receive a metal tag made of nickel with a plastic white disk in the back that has the Q-Code on it as well as the info on how to activate your pets profile. This tag is similar to a microchip but for the fact it’s attached to the pets collar and not injected under their skin. I would recommend using both to have a dual layer of protection since tags can be removed and only by a chip can you prove ownership. The advantage of the tag though is that anybody can scan the Q-Code using their cell phone while a chip requires a trip to the vet to read which someone might or might not do. Please keep in mind that you have to create the profile and then activate the tag so both steps must be taken to ensure the code will work after scanning. Yes I’ve tested all of mine to ensure they all work.The web site profile is basic. However I personally likes that I can see other pets around and follow them as well as they can follow my pets. Kinda reminded me of a basic facebook for your pets. You get to have total freedom by putting whatever pictures you wish without or without comments as to what it is and all the pictures are posted on the community “board” for everybody to see.This tag will not “track” your pet and that is NOT what it says it will do. This tag will provide the location information of the tag when it’s scanned by someone allowing you to determine where your pet could possibly be or their general location. If your looking for something that will “track” as is provide your animals location to you upon request then you need to look for a GPS system and believe me those a LOT more expensive then tags or microchips.Pros:EXCELLENT Customer Service from Pet Dwelling1 YEAR WARRANTY for date of purchasePrice: I thought the price was more then fair just remember it’s for a pet not other uses.Lightweight but heavy duty constructionContact information is private unless scanned, prevents just anybody from knowing your contact information and locationEditable, If you move, no problem, just update the information on your website profileCustomizable, this applies to the web profile you have the ability to put as much or as little information as you wish it’s totally under your controlCons:Lets face it 1 of mine did break after a little over a months use. Still looks new!
I purchased this a year ago for a dog we adopted from the shelter. She does a lot of hard running and playing and it still looks new. I have tested the connectivity of it and it does tell you right where the tag is located.

It is a good add-on, but I wish it were a little better. Scan notifications are sent to a single email address, there isn’t an option to add more. There is no app for notifications. The free plan that comes with the tag will only save single most recent scan address at a time. You get 50 scans a month for free, if that matters.With 2 dogs and a family of 4 it would be nice for every family member to receive scan information. If you are not aware that your pet is lost you are relying on 1 person to regularly check their email and for the finder to notify you with the information you provide. After becoming aware of the email, the other 3 family members would have to go to the website to receive information faster. We have Apple air tags to track and they are also chipped. We all hope that a stranger will do the right thing.

Easy to set up. Just the right size for my 50 lb. Lab mix. Scanned it to test it while I was at home and I received an email alert with the exact address and a map that had a pin at my house. It’s been on my dog’s collar for about a week now and the QR code is still intact. I waited a week to review after reading some of the other reviews about the quality of this tag. My pup is extremely active, so hoping this tag can hold up. I like that my name and address are not on display, but easily accessible to anyone with a smartphone if my dog ever escaped our fenced-in yard. And I like the fact that an email is sent whenever the tag is scanned, so we have the location of the scan.

Amazing Product
I am editting to also say that they come in a few sizes. The one she is wearing in the photo is a big one that is probably for dogs, so I ordered her a small one. Still works great but not as big!These tags are awesome. You can link photos, contact information, cats name – all visible when someone scans the tag. And you get an automatic email alert and map of location when someone scans your cat’s tag. My cat has been hanging out at the bar down the street. The owner posted her on the FB neighborhood page where I live, trying to locate her owner. Anyway long story short I put this tag on her so all people know she has a home. I just cannot recommend this product enough!

Super cute and easy to set up!
I got this for my lab Desi as an extra safety measure, she’s already microchipped, but we just moved and I wanted it for ease of mind. With that being said, the Pet ID was super easy to set up, it didn’t take me any more than 5 minutes. The tag itself is cute and looks of good quality. I just received today though so we’ll see what the durability is like! 10/10

The physical tag is fine. My design was more red than pink, which didn’t bother me too much. The website was easy to set up, but it looks very dated. I want the best for my cats, but when I edit their profile, it feels like I’m posting an ad on Craigslist.
