Priced right, excellent product.
Too much info:I’m a side sleeper. Bought a 24×10” wedge pillow at Costco a few months back. Until now, I’ve been sleeping on the original “pillow protector” that was difficult to install & remove for washing. No wedge pillow cases are available locally, so I first ordered a cotton wedge case that I didn’t notice had a thick-textured design like my present pillow protector. I returned it unopened, and ordered the Homby’s Satin 25×10.5 wedge. With the case’s zipper placed in back, the pillow slips in effortlessly. The texture is smooth without being too slippery. Case fits a bit loosely, to allow for ease of install, but stays in place (even if you install it upside down, like this dummy did the first night!) You’ll know if it’s upside down, because the pillow will be rock-hard to sleep on! I re-installed the case with zipper running along bottom edge of pillow,, and it’s perfect! No more slippery than without the case. If you want your head even with the top of the pillow, just grab the bottom edges of the wedge as you lie on it (on your back,) and pull down on the pillow as you lean forward. Fall back, and it stays put.. I may want a more sheer cotton case for the hot summer, but 2 nights in, this works fine. Can machine-wash cold, but I wash by hand and hang to dry.

I had to get a pillow wedge for surgery and even though it came with a cover, it was very hot and uncomfortable. The reviews on this one were mixed, but the price is good so I decided to go for it, and I am so happy that I did. The satin material is excellent quality, and I am someone who typically sleeps on silk and Egyptian cotton, so I know my fabrics. My wedge pillow feels so soft and cool now with this cover. I saw some people write comments about the zipper, but I have zero issues with it, and it is very sturdy to me. I washed it in the regular wash, and the instructions say that you can tumble dry it, but I decided to hang dry it, and it dried very quickly. The wrinkles were pretty much gone once I put the case on. If you are concerned about wrinkles, I guess you could run it in the dryer for a few minutes, but I had no issues with wrinkles. I’m very happy with this purchase. Also, it was very easy to put the case on.

Perfect. Satin cover helps when sleeping on my back, I can elevate my legs and the plus is it protects my hair.

It’s nice but slippery! Bear that in mind if you want to be able to lay back and not slide down as the minutes go by.

Great pillow but…
This is a great pillow however, after opening the sealed bag, the pillow has a heavy chemical like smell. After 2 days of use I threw it away which was unfortunate for me because I was able to sleep all night on the pillow.

Purchased the pillow due to a surgery I had to have and it worked great. I even kept using it for awhile, even after I didn’t need it anymore. It helped me breath and sleep better. But the case needed replaced, so I got this one – so soft, easy to wash, and the color is beautiful.

You get what you pay for
The item is as shown, feels smooth. Fits the pillow well. The zipper ripped off as I put it on for the first time. So I will be more gentle with the next one, cheap enough to just replace. 4 stars just for lack of construction.
