They start learning right away to not bark.
I was skeptical when I ordered it. Would it work? Would the ultrasonic “beep” hurt their ears? It is working for us. We have 2 dogs and get few visitors, so every time anything, anywhere nearby makes a noise, or someone goes in or out our driveway or the next one over they “go off”. With this, they stop immediately and look around for the source. They show no signs of any discomfort. I’ve had the device since Monday (today is Friday) and we are having a yard sale, so lots of cars in & out of the place. Neither dog has seriously barked, and a fairly quiet “no” or “quiet” stops them. I have not had to activate it today, even when we were outside as 4-5 cars rolled into the yard. The only “tests” left are when we go to our next Rally practice (one of them screams joyfully the 3 miles there), and for when the other dog goes ballistic because there’s another dog somewhere when he’s in our car. I have great expectations that it will work for those, too.

Peace on the phone
I purchased the bark deterrent because every time I would get on the phone my two dogs would go crazy barking. It got to the point where I had to hide in another room to have a conversation. I saw a video of a similar item and decided to give it a try. I’ve been using this device for approximately 3 weeks now and wow it has made a huge difference. After the first two weeks it only takes them to see it in my hand and they stop barking. I no longer have to hide to talk on the phone.

GREAT for my pup
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Because it had a good range and a lot of really good reviews. I waited to write my review until I used it for a week or so, and I can tell you I absolutely love this thing. I’ve not had much success getting my dog not to bark and a couple other annoying behaviors, and this has literally fixed them within three days. I am so delighted by this product, how small it is, how easy it is to carry with me, and how responsive my dog is to it… While still being very kind to my dog, it doesn’t hurt her at all, and it’s very brief. I really love this product and highly recommend it.

It works like a charm and no harm done!
I’m stunned at how well this works. My dogs fence fight with the neighbors dogs all the time. It’s so annoying. I usually end up taking my dogs in so the neighbors kids can play peacefully but then my dogs get stuck inside, which they hate. One quick push of a button and it all stopped instantly. I couldn’t believe it. We have 9 dogs between us and they all shut up instantly and stared at me. Then they just walked away! I’ve only used it a few times and now they don’t do it at all! Amazing.

It Works and Gave Me Peace at Home!
I have two dogs I love, but they used to bark at everything—people walking by, random noises, you name it. I got this device hoping it would help… and it really does!It has different modes and the ultrasonic sound doesn’t bother anyone in the house, but it gets the dogs to calm down. I use it both indoors and outdoors, and it’s helped a lot to correct the constant barking without hurting them. It’s small, easy to use, and even looks discreet.If you work from home or just want a more peaceful space without yelling or stress, I totally recommend it. Now I have more peace, and my dogs are more balanced too!

Love that this is a non harmful quick way to get your dogs attention or break them from their naughty behaviors! Specifically, with it being summer, one of our dogs will swim in circles barking and biting at the water the entire time where I can’t her her attention to come on shore and catch a breather yet alone when it’s time to go back home.This has been life altering in being able to grab her attention in the water where she stops what she was doing and then listens to our command, gets out of the water and leaves without and battles!

Really works!
This really works! I saw a video with this item on instagram and came over to Amazon to look for it. This is the exact item and brand in the video I saw. My dogs bark (2 labradoodles) annoyingly whenever someone comes into my house and this has stopped it. The first time I couldn’t believe it actually worked and for a week now it’s still working to stop barking or bad behavior (one will occasionally pounce on our other dog for no reason and it has startled her and stopped that also). I’m considering getting a second one to keep upstairs.

Peace
I have used this device for a week now, and I am very pleased. The first couple of days was the most use. Both inside and out. Today we went outside and I just had to direct with my voice. It was a peaceful time. I have a chihuahua and an American blue. They feed of each others energy. An animal is in sight they lunge and bark, not listening to me. I didn’t have to raise my voice at all today. Birds and other animals are free to be as we. The design is perfect to hid in my palm. It’s perfect Thank you

A TOTAL MUST HAVE!!!
Just received this today! The instructions are easy to understand and follow. As you follow the use instructions and what each button does, I would suggest doing it away from your dogs/cats. When testing the mode for the 8 seconds, my dogs shrunk away and my cat dove off his tree running from the room. Although I didn’t get to the full 8 seconds, this device is obviously exactly what I’ve been needing! Color is easy to spot, the price is reasonable, it functions exactly as described, the design is small enough to fit in my jean pocket and I haven’t heard them barking since testing the device! Yay! Highly recommend!

I am untrusting of the “miracle” gadgets and read every review to make sure I’m not falling for some scam etc BUT This thing works!! So if you are like me and you are reading this review with untrusting or not sure it works vibes, I will tell you that within days my dogs stopped barking at every little or big thing! AND now I only have to say the command without the “sound” !!! Could not suggest this more!!!! If your dog is barking at the leaf that moved or the menacing doorbell, get this!!!!
