From the manufacturer
TERRO Liquid Ant Baits
Ants can be a problem anywhere – in the home, at work, and everywhere in between. Unlike sprays, TERRO Liquid Ant Bait kills the ants you see and the ants you don’t. Ants are attracted to the sweet liquid bait and take it home to share, eliminating the entire colony. To kill common household ants, place TERRO Liquid Ant Baits wherever you’ve seen ant activity. The compact size of the bait stations makes them perfect for placement along baseboards, in corners, on counters, under and behind appliances, and on windowsills.
Controls the Entire Colony
Since this is a bait, initially you will see more ants – but don’t worry, this is a good thing! As ants forage for food, they are attracted to the sweet liquid inside the bait stations. Ants keep coming back for more and more, taking it to the nest to share. The active ingredient, Borax, takes effect slowly enough for foraging ants to make several trips to the bait. The communal nature of an ant colony allows the bait to spread, eliminating the entire colony.
Easy to Use
TERRO Liquid Ant Baits are very easy to use. Just open the tab and place the bait stations on a level surface anywhere you see signs of ants. The more bait placements you use, the better! Monitor placements regularly, but do not interfere with the pests or bait stations. Replace the stations when the bait is depleted. Before placing the bait stations, remove other food sources, such as crumbs, sugar, and grease spots, to prevent attracting ants elsewhere. Do not place bait where you’ve already sprayed insecticides, as the ants may avoid the bait stations.
Fast Acting & Long Lasting
When ants invade, TERRO Liquid Ant Bait is the smart choice to protect your home. Ants are quickly attracted to the sweet liquid inside the bait station. Within a few days, you should see a significant decrease in the number of ants visiting the bait. The bait continues working for weeks, as long as ants are still visiting the stations. Complete control may take up to 2-4 weeks.

My ant problem was gone by using this product within a few hours.
I very rarely write reviews which is kind of stupid because I usually read reviews prior to getting certain products. Therefore I guess I will start now, hoping I can help someone decide wether or not this product is for them. Before you read this long review I want to let you know this is the BEST product I have ever used. Before I tell you about how AMAZING this product was I will tell you what kind of Ant 🐜 problem I had. Maybe someone can relate.I have a parrot and he is in a room that is near a window. With all the different types of food he eats and with the warmer weather that we started having in my area (NJ) I started seeing ants outside. That’s when I started seeing some ants coming in from the bottom left corner of the frame of our window. I have never had an ant issue with the 17 years I live hear. Even having my parrot and all the amounts of food he eats. For some reason last year during the spring time is when I saw these crazy little annoying bugs come in my house. These ants seemed to be a different type of ant. One I have never seen before. They were small but the minute you go near them they would run away or scatter away super fast. I have an exterminator on my block and he told us they were sugar ants. What the hell is a sugar ant? Lol. Well I was told that these ants hide out in your shower and in the kitchen because of the sugary foods around. Why are they found in a bathroom is beyond me. But I looked it up after what he said and everything he told us was what I read on line about “sugar ants”. I mentioned that last year I had this problem and they were found behind the faucet in our shower. That’s another story. Anyway, before having an exterminator come into my house, I figured I would try to resolve the problem myself. So before buying this “AMAZING PRODUCT”, I purchased all the “Raid” products that come in the square plastic containers. The ones that come in white or grey containers. I put the Raid traps by the window and where else I thought they might come in. I actually tried the mixture of vinegar, sugar and water concoction that was told on line to use for these ants. But nothing worked. I doubt an ant even went to these traps because near my window they would go around those traps. I was getting frustrated because I skeeve bugs. And I was afraid of an exterminator coming in with my parrot living here. I wasn’t taken that chance of him dying with the chemicals. Anyway after coming to a dead end with the Raid traps I began reading and reading on so many products just to find a worthy product. That’s when I came across this product. It was very different than the normal products that are used to kill ants. So I figured why not, let me give it a try. I received my order really fast and was anxious to use them. After reading all the directions these baits were very easy to use. It comes in a thick clear rectangular container. To open it, it Reccomended to hold it up right and twist off the plastic top until it snaps off. It was a little tough for me to snap off the top like it says on the package. Therefore I used a pair of scissors to open the trap. Word of advise, if you need a pair of scissors to open your product, just make sure to keep the trap upright so the liquid doesn’t pour out. After opening the trap, I then placed this trap about 3-4 inches away from the bottom corner of the window. Right where I saw the ants coming in. They scurried away from me at first, but the minute I put this trap down it was shocking!! No joke. I was shocked to see all these ants go running toward the opening of this trap. The trap actually attracted more ants to come out of hiding to eat this food (crazy). I actually spilt a little bit on my windowsill and some ran to that and got stuck. But what was amazing to me was after I put the trap down and watching these ants go to it, it was shocking to see them run right back out of the corner of the windowsill. It was crazy. I just watched for a few minutes and to see them either get trapped inside the trap or grab some of the food in the trap and run back outside or wherever they came from. And by the end of the day they were gone. It’s about 2 weeks now since I only used one trap and I have yet to see another NASTY ANT!! Wahooo!!!! They are gone. This product is BY FAR THE BEST ANT PRODUCT I HAVE EVER USED IN MY LIFE!! This is noooo joke. Therefore you can count on me to continue to purchase and use this product for any ant problem that might arise again. I will never buy a different type of ant trap again. No matter how popular people feel the “Raid” products might be. The sprays are only wonderful for the outdoors but for the inside the “Raid” products are definitely not as effective as this product is. I actually gave my neighbor 2 traps and after a day or two they were gone by him as well. These traps are crazy how wonderful they work. I swear by this product and I know if you purchase these traps you will too. I will never buy another kind of ant traps again. These are the BEST kind of ant traps on the market by far!!! And mind you, I AM NOT making any kind of commission from this company for this product review. I am just sooo happy my ant issue is gone for now. Sooo, if you want to get rid of these annoying, nasty bugs “FAST,” then purchase these traps. And I promise you, you will be so happy you did.

I never know if reviews are real…especially when they are really long and keep mentioning the product name etc…but I took a chance on this ant bait based on so many of these good reviews. I first want to say that I actually find ants to be fascinating and they’re such hard workers in aiming to maintain their colonies. My first choice is to not to kill these little guys and their complex social structured communities. However, natural deterrents from vinegar to peppermint to washing away their scent trails w dish soap etc…nothing worked. My apt was seriously overrun…on the low pile carpet in the living room, on the sink counter in the kitchen, a few in the bathroom and some in one of the bedrooms. I did my research and chose this bait. As my ant infestation was quite extreme, I opened about 6 of these little liquid packets and placed them where I saw high ant traffic. I would say…within *minutes*….the bait that was on the kitchen sink counter started attracting their attention. I have not been able to locate the entry spot for these ants, but they made trails across my kitchen floor, climbed up the lower cabinet and seemed to go to the first bait I put out. (I didn’t even need to open the other 5 that I placed in other areas.) Bc that area was becoming so heavily trafficked and the ants were making a pilgrimage to that spot, I placed a 2nd open bait trap in that area and let the ants do their thing. As of this morning, having only placed the bait out last night – I have to admit I am completely shocked and surprised that I DID NOT SEE EVEN ONE ANT TODAY! This stuff is incredible at how fast it works! Completely unexpected! Well….I can assure you that this long review is real…and I’m writing it bc this product is the real deal. I DID not expect to see results so quickly. So despite feeling guilty that I had no choice in resorting to baiting (& killing ) the little ants (I think they’re sugar ants), I am relieved that in just the overnight, my infestation seems to be over. So….I do highly recommend this ant bait if your goal is to quickly rid your home/apt of ants. I’m really impressed.👍UPDATE: Day 2 – I did see a notable handful of ants in 3 rooms today. Hoping they havent reached the bait yet and will soon disappear!

Terro bait was a life saver! Highly recommended!!!
I rarely give reviews, but this is beyond worth it! For the past 2 years in the spring, I’d see an occasional ant here and there after it rained. They’d appear on the kitchen counter next to my sink that has a window next to it. Since it wasn’t often, I’d spray a little insecticide, clean up, and didn’t worry about it. I stopped seeing them after 2-3 weeks. BUT…this year was completely different! I started seeing about a dozen or so for multiple days in a row. They started going into my cabinets, kitchen drawers and some found their way to my bathroom. I realized at that point that there must be a hole or opening where a colony was coming in. So, I started caulking up some small cracks throughout my kitchen and bathroom. After caulking, I started saw seeing more appear, but since they were spread out, I couldn’t locate their nest. I like to cook and this was an inconvenience to worry about anything crawling near or in my food.I couldn’t take it anymore, so I decided to try the Terro Liquid Ant Bait. I set it up 2 days ago (Thurs. 5/15/25) and even poured out a drop or two of the liquid onto a piece of paper the trap was on to lure the ants. WOW, was I surprised at the results! Within 40 minutes of setting up the trap, there was a larger crowd of ants eating the bait & traveling back to their nest. I used a flashlight to observe & track their path on the floor. Turned out that the ants were going under the floor molding into a wall in my eat in kitchen area. Within 24 hours, there were far less of them coming to the bait…and as of today (Saturday 5/17/25), so far, there are NONE in sight! I am beyond happy & relieved that the colony got wiped out within 48 hours! But to be cautious, I expect to leave the bait in place for a few weeks just in case.I saw some reviews mentioned that the bait is sticky & sometimes hard to clean. Yes, that is true. I recommend placing the trap on top of a large piece of paper or on top of something flat that will catch the liquid so it doesn’t touch your floor. That worked for me. Also, be sure to mix half vinegar/half water in a spray bottle & clean any surfaces or floors with it. For those who don’t know, vinegar water will get rid of any ant residue & pheromones that they leave on surfaces for other ants to follow & find their way back to the nest. I HIGHLY recommend these TERRO Liquid Ant Baits…this was a life saver!!!

Kills ants well- but do NOT let the contents spill!
Kills ants well- I noticed a marked decrease in just a couple days. One star penalty for the God-awful mess when one of these things gets knocked off-level or- heaven forbid- lands on the floor.I learned the lesson quickly as I spilled the first on as I was opening it.The bait liquid’s level of stickiness is somewhere between superglue and a mouse glue board.Trust me- if one of these babies spills, do NOT use anything to clean it up that you want back.Your best option is a couple strategically placed old gift cards followed by a good squirt of Dawn allowed to sit for an hour. The good news is: when one spills, the ants drown themselves in the goo. The bad news is: they are supposed to be taking it back to the nest. Not sure if I would buy them again if they don’t fix the ease of spillage.tl;dr : works, but difficult to clean up when spilled.

Leiningen Versus the Ants
I had the strangest month this January 2025. A raccoon randomly decided that my home was going to be it’s and dug FOUR !!@#$^ holes in my roof. I had to get the roof replaced, $$$. Still holes in the ceiling. The next day, on a seemingly unrelated note, I had a 6-inch diameter tree that lost the sunlight wars and died two years ago, with an 8-foot trunk left. Three feet from my home. I tested it to see if I could break it from the root. It broke with much ease, because there were either fat black termites or flying ants. Swarming. I took the trunk and threw it into a wood pile 30 feet away. Went back inside. Thought nothing of it.Ten PM that night, I look at one of the ceiling holes and the ants with the big flying drones(?) were inside my home in one of those ceiling holes. From my 2-inch vantage point, I could see at least 50 ants filling the whole view from the tiny holes. Also, the angry flying ants from the tree were coming out of the hole. First thing I did was order this poison ant bait from Amazon, peeved that I had to order twelve when I was used to buying only four. The next thing I did was set up the most cruel ant death trap I’ve ever constructed. I put a tub of water under the hole and surrounded the tub with a mixture of diatomaceous earth and dry boric acid. So, the bugs would get wet, crawl out of the tub and track into the “death dust”. Then, I gave the hole a spray of some competing spray poison product and killed what was flying around until it looked like things had died down. This ceiling hole was ten feet from where I broke the tree, which means they possibly occupied some space in-between that ten feet. This was me vs the queen. I went to sleep. The next morning, ants had come back, but the death trap was working mostly. Amazon delivered pdq that day. Opened up that 3×4-pack of ant poison. Decided to take no chances and just cut the top off of four connected units and see what happens. In a little over 24 hours, they had consumed all four. They had a weird pattern of consuming one container at a time. Insane consumption rate. I opened up another four and they consumed only two of those four. Insane that they just stopped at two, not two and some of the third.Since then, nothing. Fingers crossed. This stuff has been working for forever.

Out, out damn ants!
For a couple weeks, I kept busy in the kitchen by chasing down and squashing small insects that around here are called “slab ants.” (I think these teeny, tiny pests are also called “pavement ants” or “sugar ants.”) My unwelcome visitors ran maniacally all over the counters and were not at all interested in baits I’d used before on larger, mostly floor-dwelling ants. The most frustrating thing was I couldn’t figure out how they were getting to the counter, as every possible entry point I could see was caulked good and tight. I decided to try this Terro liquid bait. I placed five baits at various points around the countertops and stayed away for a couple hours. When I checked back, I was astonished by the huge number of ants running to, around, and right into the bait traps. Best of all, I could now see how the nasty critters were accessing the counter. They were coming in through a tiny separation UNDER the counter, between the Formica top and the base. I’ll soon close that up, but for now, I’ll just let the ants scurry in and out, so they will take the sweet poison back to the colony. Of course, by turning a large area of countertop, on both sides of my sink, into a killing field, I’ve made it impossible to cook meals and wash dishes in the sink. (Oh, boo-hoo. LOL.) Before I go to bed tonight, I plan to put out fresh traps to encourage the ants to continue to enjoy all the poison they can drink and carry back to their homies in the nest. I’ll write the end of this story when it comes to that. For now…I’m thrilled at how well this stuff works.SO…as I write above, I thought I’d put out fresh baits before bed. But, at 10 p.m.—about 15 hours after first setting out the Terro baits—I found the five on the counters housed only a few ants each. I was surprised because, during the day, each bait station had been mobbed and clogged with ants. I figured all those ants had staggered drunkenly back to their colony laden with poison to share. And that must be exactly what happened because the next morning….NOT AN ANT IN SIGHT! It took 24 hours to solve a problem that had bugged me (pun intended) for a couple weeks. All I had to do was buy the Terro liquid baits, empty my countertops, and follow the directions for using the stuff. Wonderful!

———— Great Product !!! —————– WORKS! ————
Amazing! The last 2 seasons, we have had ants showing up againWe haven’t seen ants in our home for well over a decade( Seems like there are cycles ants have)I noticed ants poping up on on kitch counter, also at the cats dish in the kitchen, and also in the living room where I feed the cats treats in in the evening, and a pet mat.All 3 areas showing ants, with the kitchen counter being the worst by far..last year I purchased a name brand ant killer, with the little plastic trapsPlaced around the kitchen, and they did Nothing to stop the ants.I read about Terro liquid filled plastic traps, and they have a lot of positive reviewsI purchased and placed 2 on the kitchen counterAnd within a few hours, the ants started to go for the ant killer filled traps12 hours or so later, there were a LOT of ants around the trapsI thought they were dying inside the plastic ant killer traps there were so many.I had to stop myself from trying to hand kill the ants, as the directions sayjust leave them be, and let them go to town on the ant poison.Next moring, I was shocked, all the ants that I thought died in the traps emptied outAnd apparently filled themselves up with the ant poison, and went back to the queen2 days later, I checked the area again, all ants were gone, none in the trapHere is the kickerThe other areas where we had some ants, by the cat dish, and in the living room cats mat treat areaThey too were goneHow can that be? DId they send out a signal to the other ants? As there were no traps in those areas. As of today, 4 days laterWe have yet to see another ant!Great product!Set ant bait/killer, and just leave it beLet the ants go to town on the poisonIf you have pets, keep them AWAY from the ant poisonAs this product uses Borax and other tasty to ants, food.Place in areas where pets cannot reach itHighly recommend productI tried this

10/10 would buy again for another bug invasion
10/10, just make sure it’s where the ants are known to walk. What I did was open two traps, poured a small bit out for the ants and leave the trap next to the small bit. The ants would swarm puddle like hell, but don’t kill them manually! They’re taking it back as food for their colony! After day 1, noticeably less ants. Day 2, haven’t seen an ant. It’s been over a week since and I still haven’t seen another ant, but I still leave a trap out just in case since it doesn’t dry out no matter what Amazon AI thinks what I’m saying and even though not drying out is a good thing (its a liquid bait, like sugar water + borax) and is super effective. Compact size, so very easy to ignore once in the corner or whatever surface you put it on. Mine looks clear which made me a bit anxious for other pets, but after using it, I’ve realized that you don’t need to pour it out at all, just keep it in the trap, and you can even add a sticky to the bottom and the small/weaker pets won’t be able to do anything about it since the opening isn’t even big enough for my cat’s claw to fit in (only ants be going in and out.)

Ant killer 5000
This product seems to be a damn fine option. I’m a traveling Pipefitter which means I’m on the road a whole bunch. No matter where I park my camper I seem to have a mean ant problem no matter how clean or sealed it is, I tried dousing the outside parts of my toy hauler that touch the ground with every kind of supposed ant killer you can find but they didnt seem to care one bit they still found there way in. But I figured screw it I’ll try everything I can to get rid of the pesky abominations and this is the first product I tried due to the reviews and I gotta say it sure works wonders. When I first tried this product I was in Oklahoma dealing with a species of ants called “little black ants” not a very scientific name I know but they are very annoying, this product sent them straight to forever land. Recently I’ve been working in northern Kansas and dealing with carpenter ants which are just as annoying as the “little black ants” but a WHOLE LOT BIGGER. These ants look like if tried to hit them with a hammer they would just grab it out of my hands and chance me with it, anyways there quite annoying and they don’t pay rent here so they had to go. I put about 4 of these traps in places we’re I thought they might frequent and gash Dern did it work. They first place I but a trap was in my pantry since I found an ant getting in my brown sugar, very sick nasty I threw that stuff away immediately, within a few hours of setting the trap I opened my pantry again and I’ll bet there were at least two dozen ants fighting over this bait. Before setting the trap the most ants I have seen at one time were maybe 3 or 4 so seeing a number of ants well above 20 shook me to my core, I did not enjoy that part of the trap I’m not going to lie i contemplated just burning the camper to the ground after seeing so many ants at once in there. But I guess the moral of the story is it works very very well and within a few days of witnessing ants throw a kegger in my pantry there were no more to be seen atleast any live ones to be seen. 10/10 would recommend just be prepared to see ants throw a fiesta when you set this thing out because I definitely was not.

For All My Friends with Fruit Bowls, Farmers Market Hauls & Uninvited Tiny Guests 🐜
If you’ve got fresh produce on the counter, you know the struggle. One day you’re admiring your beautiful fruit bowl like a still life painting… and the next, you’re hosting an ant rave on your countertop.Enter: TERRO Ant Killer Bait Stations. These little clear squares? Life-savers. Set them down near the ant traffic zone, and prepare for things to look worse before they get better (seriously—more ants show up because they’re all calling their friends). But then—poof—ghost town. The ants take the bait back to the nest, and within a couple of days, it’s peace, quiet, and produce without a side of bugs. They last a long time, so they’re totally worth the cost. What I Loved:✅ Super easy to use, no mess✅ Doesn’t smell weird✅ Actually works — noticeably fewer ants after day 2✅ Safe to place near but not on the fruit bowlWhat to Know:⚠️ You will see more ants at first. Don’t panic — that means it’s workingBottom line: If you’re proud of your fresh fruit stash but tired of tiny invaders crashing the party, this is your subtle but powerful defense system.

Beyond impressed!

Beyond impressed!

Wonderful!
