I bought an XS- I am 4’10 and about 107 lbs. I am about 8 pounds heavier than usual- still losing baby weight, but these fit very well and comfortable. Around my waist is more snug then I would usually wear but that will get better once I lose more weight. I recommend xs if you are less than 110lbs. I love the length and fit. Doesn’t look frumpy even though they aren’t form fitting. I wish they had more colors- I’d buy several pairs.

Too much material
Why is it so hard to find a nice pair of black running shorts. The positive for these shorts are they are black, legnth is good, they have an underwear liner and a tie string. The terrible about these shorts is the fit is a bit too snug so I ordered another pair and went up a size. They just don’t work. There is an enormous unnecessary waist band. There is all this extra material on the sides with different types of pockets on each side and this weird band of extra material on the back which means the shorts don’t lay nicely when you are wearing them. The underwear part is cut a bit too small so it feels like it is riding up. Terrible. I should have returned them. If you are looking for a lightweight pair of running shorts, these are not the shorts for you. Maybe if you weren’t going to use these for running and were using them to carry tons of stuff around in your pants these would be for you. I have tons of new balance running clothes but these shorts are so disappointing.

Around my waist is more snug then I would usually wear but that will get better once I lose more weight. I recommend xs if you are less than 110lbs. I love the length and fit. Doesn’t look frumpy even though they aren’t form fitting. I wish they had more colors- I’d buy several pairs.

Back pocket is a little odd but decent quality
The shorts are nice and comfy and good quality but I almost returned because I really don’t like the look of the back specifically the pocket for your iPhone which I would probably never use anyway. One of the few things that the quality is worth your dollar on Amazon.

Too much material
Why is it so hard to find a nice pair of black running shorts. The positive for these shorts are they are black, legnth is good, they have an underwear liner and a tie string. The terrible about these shorts is the fit is a bit too snug so I ordered another pair and went up a size. They just don’t work. There is an enormous unnecessary waist band. There is all this extra material on the sides with different types of pockets on each side and this weird band of extra material on the back which means the shorts don’t lay nicely when you are wearing them. The underwear part is cut a bit too small so it feels like it is riding up. Terrible. I should have returned them. If you are looking for a lightweight pair of running shorts, these are not the shorts for you. Maybe if you weren’t going to use these for running and were using them to carry tons of stuff around in your pants these would be for you. I have tons of new balance running clothes but these shorts are so disappointing.

I bought an XS- I am 4’10 and about 107 lbs. I am about 8 pounds heavier than usual- still losing baby weight, but these fit very well and comfortable.
